Both have their pros and cons. As you pointed out, Minichamps rarely does the cut wings while Spark has visible outlines on the decals. Personally I would mostly choose a Minichamps version for the simple fact that they are cheaper and I don't need the display case
You are like me. Both good but I generally lean towards Minichamps for my F1 and Sparks makes most of my LeMans cars. You really can't go wrong with either. The case from Spark is nice if you do not have a cabinet but for me I would rather pay less. Thanks for watching and your feedback.
Minichamps beats Spark when it comes to finish and decals as well as the tires. Spark beats Minichamps in detail since finer details are easier to mold in resin than in diecast. Too bad Spark struggles with overall finish and decals and has plain and detail-less shoulders on the tires. Got the Mexican winner for Christmas and got Spark's version of Max's '22 Japan winner. Like them both despite their flaws.
You are spot on. Both have plus and minus features. It is a shame they both can't take the good from both and put them into one. At this point they both make good models so you cannot go wrong. In isolate you don't pick up some of the differences, only when you have them together. BBR and Look Smart are the same as they are essentially Minichamps and Spark respectively. Thanks for watching and your input. Happy collecting!
