Jake drove up from Texas to meet me in Wyoming on some public land to chase some speed goats. It was a rough few days of chasing wary antelope. Day 3 was a wash and the weather wasn't cooperating but on the 4th day after hiking into some land that wasn't accessible by road we came up on a group.
As the video shows, Jake seals the deal and we both tagged out.

I’m hoping to go out to Wyoming next year. Looking at unit 17. I’ve never hunted out west. Trying to get my sons to tag along . Great video gentlemen.

Nice Bucks! I watched both hunt videos from this trip and it looks like some vast, WINDY country. I drew unit 1 as well for the 2024 season. I was thinking about exploring the northwest area of the unit because there seems to be quite a bit of BLM. Any tips/recommendations?

Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have any experience in that unit. We got a low point unit. I'm building my preference points back up and hope to get into one of those harder units in the future

I'm not sure what .270 ammo he's using but he's knocking em down with it. Wind was extra rough that day, probably what allowed us to sneak in as close as we did.

Thank you I appreciate it. I'm shooting a Savage 10p in . 308. Round is Hornady Superformance SST 150g. I practice at 500 yds on 8x8 steel targets and it plinks them just fine.

Just realized this was my brother's video. He's shooting a Remington XCR II in . 270.
