I was complaining about the same thing on the scroll wheel button but I was doing it wrong. You need to press it slitghtly lower and it should work just fine. FYI mine is the gen 2 XSR900 but they have the same dash and controls anyway.
I found myself doing powerwheelies a lot easier in power mode 1. Lift control setting influences how fast your bike gets to 45 degree wheelie. I’m happy with lift control mode 1.
@@bosk1n they do too affect your wheelies, if u look down as you start a wheelie your slide control light comes on, it's restricting a bit, I run slide control off and lift #1
Other of videos out there. Those on the other hand, are not showing the menu as closely, so try a few videos. Appreciate the power of the internet and free content. I have not paid one cent for this information and I learned about the M mode for traction and lift off settings, so I am grateful for that and so I liked the video. Be grateful. Don't complain. You will be much happier. I promise. Thank the guy. Don't just expect things. Nobody promised you anything, anyway.
I have a '21, obviously same bike. Two biggest complaints are that cheapo toggle wheel (pathetic) and the front blinkers that pop out of socket so easy. One of my first changes I pulled off those junk front blinkers and put some TST MECH GTR on, super bright, look awesome.
I agree on the blinkers, my son also has the new MT07 and the blinkers are the same on that, I had the TST MECH GTR blinkers on my gen 2 MT09 yea super bright and they look cool.
this 1 mod , have an impact at your driving ? you know , 1 mod keep you on kind of train rails ?? ! Cause averybody said how playful is the Tracer 900 and Mt09 ,but when i ride it , i didnt find it playful at all . Now... this conclusion is falty cause the bike was set at mod 1 when i ride it ??????
Wheelies will F up your bike if you cannot wheelie. Also, wheelies will F up you back and tailbone, or you wrap the whole rig around the nearest tree, if you whisky throttle. Quite honestly, unless you're trying to impress your girlfriend watching you and she won't accept your proposal, UNLESS you wheelie well, then I guess go for it, but otherwise, 09 is enough power to take you for a major ride even with lift off control at 3. I find it THE MOST FUN to open it up and not worry it will run away from me to the neighboring town. Yes, it is modern 900ccs with high compression, too. These bikes are no joke. Not for beginners in drive setting s 1 or 2. Sit on the tank for proper control if you whisky. Have fun. Ride responsibly. keep yourself and others safe so that you can ride again tomorrow.
