A r3 will go plenty fast enough to kill you and most people dont have the balls to ride over 110. Sure some of us out here do it at track and sometimes in the streets. A r3 is all you truly need. They are insanely fun in the twisties and I ride a brand new R1 on the daily basis.

An R3 is cheap transportation in a sporty package. Excellent gas mileage, inexpensive tires, cheaper to maintain, light weight, you will get good at working a gearbox to go fast, cheaper to insure....

I don't own R3 but MT25 (MT03 but 249cc instead of 321cc) because R3/MT03 is not available here except R25/MT25, still sounds good and fun bike!
