Amazing effort from Ms Rostey. For a young artist, she is able to show so much emotion in her singing. She also has that quality of effortlessness in both her her singing and playing of the trombone that only the best jazz artists have. Great performance by the band and soloists and fantastic direction as always from Maestro Chamorro!

It’s been a while since I last checked in with my favourite jazz band. Truthfully, I was nervous that I would miss those wonderful soloists too much: Rita Payès, Alba Armengou, Andrea Motis … but here I find a voice new to me - Claudia Rostey. With the easy delivery, assured musicality that I associate with Joàn’s singers, Claudia has restored my attachment to the band. How could I have doubted the Chamorro magic? I understand that Claudia comes with a solid jazz family background but in the Sant Andreu family she is bringing her talent to a devoted following. I am also loving the discovery of Alba the baritone sax. I have been away far too long! ❤

Como siempre ha valido la pena esperar. La sensación que me queda después de escuchar la interpretación de toda la banda la de ternura. Todos esos artistas que ponen lo mejor de si al 100% que se privan de el ocio propio de jóvenes de su edad para dedicarse a perfeccionar sus capacidades artísticas y conseguirlo es algo muy encomiable . Claudia interpreta la canción con dulzura da la impresión de ser una chica tímida y eso tiene más merito aún. Enhorabuena Juan, no sé cómo lo haces para conseguir estos resultados con estos niños. Es de suponer que con mucha dedicación y capacidad cariño y paciencia . Felicidades.

Que buena cantante y trombonista es Claudia Rostey. Era difícil entrar en el selecto club de las estrellas históricas de la SAJB en esas dos facetas (Andrea, Rita, Alba, Codina ... ) pero ella lo está consiguiendo. Con una voz propia y distinta a las citadas, con un gusto y sentimiento exquisitos cantando y una gran progresión con el instrumento (ese sólo lo hubiera firmado la propia Rita) tiene un futuro extraordinario. No me extrañaría que fuera "presentada" por Chamorro después de Koldo y Elsa, aunque deben darse prisa: Claudia cumple 21 años en este 2024 y por tanto le quedan uno ó dos años máximo en la Banda. Destacar también el solo fantástico del "invitado" Joan Martí.

Rostey might just be your best singer to date, but I haven't heard enough of her to really be able to tell. Andrea Motis is also very good, and obviously one has heard a lot more of her voice; she also has an incredible pitch, watching the video of her and the WDR Big Band perform the song Brisa, I remember I was blown away. Not to mention Rita Payés. Great solo by Mr. Marti. Nice to see the drummer use traditional grip!

Hola Hola Hola, esto va cambiando, estoy pensando que cuando J. Chamorro, escoje un grupo de muchachos con calidad, y les dirige se convierten en casi profesionales, y digo casi porque vengo de escuchar unos conciertos en Viena, y es la madre de la musica desde hace siglos y tenemos que remontar esto que nos cuesta mucho, tanto por los nusicos como por el publico oyente, Un abrazo muy fuerte desde Mallorca.

I like Claudia, I think she's the best female singer in the band these days. While I don't think this is her best performance, it's still very nice. And Joan Marti's solo was excellent. Joan Chamorro continues to weave his magic!
