Close up of speakers during the Ancestral Lands of the Cherokee Indians Photo Project w/ The Wilderness Society (full presentation with slides is available in recording 6a).
In collaboration with the EBCI and photographer Micheli Oliver, The Wilderness Society coordinated a photo essay project to depict the EBCI’s relationship with their ancestral sacred sites. This project
resulted in a robust collection of images and an essay defining several key elements of Cherokee culture, people, and land.
