[2023/07] Interstate 405 - Seattle, Washington (Seattle Freeways)

The first part of this video to the SR 522 interchange (one of my favorite in this region) makes up a part of my commute. If only it went as fast as it does in your video! I still can't believe I haven't filmed I-405 for one of my videos. I think it's because I've filmed so many videos on roadtrips that I feel like I just have more than enough content to put out.

I-405 WA and WA 518 aren't the only highway routes sharing the continous road. There is also WA 125 that links another commericial airport serving Seattle called Paine Field in Lake Stickney, WA (that airport is commercial and general aviation and also serves Everett) and it also have a ferry and road to Whidbey Island. In the future, since Sea-Tac Airport is a very busy commercial airport serving Seattle and Tacoma in SeaTac, WA, I hope Paine Field expands and be a big commercial airport too. That is why Sea-Tac Airport isn't the only commericial airport serving Seattle. Can you imagine what will it be to have a 2nd big airport in a metro area and can you imagine what would it be if another airport expands to become a 2nd primary airport?

Finally, back to Metropolitan Seattle and also my favorite US city, the Emerald City aka Seattle. By the way, how many times you cross the US border visiting Washington State? Is it rarely?
