Hello,
In this video, I am sharing our curriculum choices for science for the 2023-2024 school year.
We are entering our 7th year of homeschooling and choose to do most of our subjects family style. My kids are currently 8 and 10 entering the 2nd and 5th grades!
We choose mostly secular curriculum options and are very eclectic in our homeschool.

We are going to combine the B&R Earth and Sky with TGTB Geology and Weather & Water. I love all the books, and videos and projects offered in B&R, but also love the scripted nature, the visuals, and notebooking options in TGTB .

That's a great combination. I agree I love all of the open an go options that TGTB offers with beautiful visuals. B&R offers more books, videos and projects that you can add in as desired. They work really well together.

We loved TGTB physical body!!! I require that my kids learn basic anatomy!!! We do a lot of studying on the human body!!! I buy too much for science and sometimes they get pushed to the next school year or June and July!!! We did TGTB engery unit and I bought a toy for each of my kids to demonstrate sound waves!!! It was awesomely fun!!! I’m looking at a barefoot in the trees unit but the one we may do is a bit out there!!!

We love science and really can't get enough of it. It feels like family fun time. I also like to buy too much and struggle it fit it in. Lol. I've never done Barefoot in the tree but, they look really interesting. I pre-bought a few of them when she had a combined sale. I got the birds & bees, nutrition and one that is often controversial. I am also eye the Halloween, Christmas, Baking, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and Gaming ones. Too many look god!
