IMO this is THE definitive video for anyone buying a Palisade with this infotainment system. Well done. Just brought our beautiful '23 emerald green Calligraphy home this evening. Liked and saved!!!
Just bought the 2024 Palisade Calligraphy. This is an awesome video, my dealer was great but it’s hard to get all this information when the vehicle was just purchased. This video allows me to follow along and stop and start when needed. 👍
I’m getting my calligraphy in April, thank you for this video!!! I know when I test drove it, the amount of features was a tad overwhelming, it’ll be nice knowing all the info!
Fantastic job man. In depth and great pace. Shopping for a Caligraphy now and the tech is always the biggest challenge to master. You made it easy. Saved the video so I can reuse it as a refresher.
Phenomenal tutorial Ed. Can't wait to receive mine. They are starting to build mine in October. Hopefully I will get it soon. I'm not certain how long it will take but luckily I have your video to assist with all of the details. Lots to learn. We'll done!
It cannot. However, if using apple carplay or Android auto, those assistant voices can of course be changed. But the built in system does not have that option.
Thank you for a great video! His do I use an iPhone 14 with this car since all I can find is the old USB port that connects to Apple Play? Thank you for any information!
2023 Santa Fe Calligraphy which includes the heads-up display. - Previously I had posted speed limit on my map and while moving my current speed that has disappeared where is that check box?
On your infotainment system, go to setup, then go to vehicle, then on driver assistance tap where it says speed limit, then speed limit warning. Make sure speed limit warning is turned on. That will put the speed limit back up on your screen and head up display
Great walkthrough of the infotainment system but pretty disappointing that apple car and android auto weren't covered. Would love to see how they display on the 12" screen.
Excellent information. We have a 2023 Limited, and I am wondering if there is a setting that when the car is started the display would automatically show the radio frequency screen (minute 15:25) instead of the default date/time/and the darkened map (minute 1:20)? I know it it just pressing one button, but would love for it to just automatically display the radio upon starting the car. Thanks!
Customize your cluster. Can you have a specific theme for each drive mode? I.e. Smart will get the cube design, sport will get the red design, snow will get the white cluster. Etc.
Brooooooooo. Can you please do a video about the options we in the USA do not get Compared to the videos on RU-vid. Like the reclining seats. I guess it’s called zero gravity or relaxation seats.
I saw on another video that I think is American where you can use the voice command to close all windows or turn off heated seats. Is this feature in Canada as well?
I don't think so.. I tried the heated steering wheel which I've also seen on another video, and it didn't work either. I think it might just be European and Korean models perhaps?
How do you disable the alarm or sensor, for leaving windows open and car is parked? Left windows open and 15 min later, my car was beeping non stop-alarm went off, thank you
That was going to be my suggestion. "rear occupant sensor" But if there's no rear occupants when it happens then that's likely not it. (Though, I could be wrong) My guess is that it's because the windows are open, it doesn't want your vehicle to be stolen.
Still manual. Honestly, this is one place where adding power maybe isn't the greatest. Those power adjusting steering wheel columns have always been unreliable. I like them, but i hate them at the same time 😂
Try pressing the "1" button on your driver's door. If that doesn't do it, then you'll need to set it up to where you had it manually.. then press "set" then "1" to memorize that position
Hi all, I’m hoping Ed or anyone in the comments can help me with a couple of questions regarding the 2023 palisade calligraphy. I received mine last week when, of course, it was raining for 2 days straight lol. It got pretty dirty and took it to the car wash when the sun finally came out. However, every time you open the driver door with the engine running it automatically shifts to park. As a result we couldn’t get the car through the car wash unless I sat in the car. Is there a way to turn this “feature” off? I can’t find a way to do it through the infotainment and even went to Hyundai to ask them but they didn’t know either. Second question is about tire pressure, I see in some reviews the tire pressure is displayed on screen but mine doesn’t do that and again I can’t find a way to adjust that setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
@@edsgarage001 thank you Ed, I just watched them. You answered them immediately. Wish you were the dealer by me lol. Thanks so much for your timely response.
Hi Ed. We have the 2022 Calligraphy. We have the option to change the heads up display to another color We just brought the 2023 Calligraphy, but I did not see an option to change the heads up display to another color. Is this option avaliable on the 2023?
I've not heard of an option to change the head up display colour... Unless you just mean the digital speedometer within the head up display - white green or Orange. But yeah, they got rid of that
My dealer is in Ontario and we ordered in Mid June and said there's no Calligraphys that needed it here yet, was he BSing me? He quoted me end of the month or September but there's no emails or anything yet...
It usually takes Ontario about a month longer to get inventory, as everything is dumped in Vancouver and shipped by train from there. So they'll likely start seeing the palisade in a couple weeks.
Big thumbs up, but WOW, options overload. You could spend countless hours learning not only what options exist, but how to set things up, not to mention WHERE the option is in the menu. I am very much am liking this car but...wife is still on the Toyota bandwagon. We'll see what happens down the road.
I cannot figure out how to set cell phone favorites on a 2023 Calligraphy (with Hyundai built in system, not carplay). The favorites option does not appear. Please verify for me. Thanks,
why does no one talk about the poor volume quality from the harman kardon in the 2023 calligraphy volume has to be at 40 to get what others give at 10 or 15 level.
Use a PC or laptop to "rip" you're music into high bit-rate or even lossless mp3 files, then store them on a USB stick, or your smartphone Play the music in the Palisade from the USB stick or your smartphone. CD players are going the way of the dinosaur, you won't find them in any new vehicles. Time to catch up! You can literally put your entire CD library on one USB drive.
@@edsgarage001 Saw a videos of one of your colleagues and the nav seemed to have that feature. He was using Carplay tho. I thought he was using Waze but I was wrong, maybe is a apple maps feature
If I mentioned that... My bad.. Could've sworn it was though, or perhaps to the blue link account? But the instrument cluster brightness is connected to it.
@@edsgarage001 ya the cruddy thing is, that there can only be 1 Bluelink account tied to the car. So me, as driver2, can't link the Bluelink account. I either have to use a second profile with no Bluelink or just use my wife's account or whatever. She added me as a second driver but that doesn't link to the second driver account in the car which is frustrating.
@@FutureFishProduction call blue link customer service. See if they can help you out. I'm pretty certain you can use two separate accounts, because you're supposed to be able to link the two account to the two user profiles.
That's interesting.... I'll see if I can figure it out. Try to keep your replies in the same thread rather then a new comment though, otherwise it's tough to connect your comments together. At first I had no idea what you were talking about 😅😅
