2023-24 Jockey Club 'Move with the Silver Flow' Dance and Well-being Project - Phase 2 Dance Video "City of the Sky: A Journey through Space and Dance in Tsuen Wan"
藝術家與編舞導師帶領長者展開創作，製作舞蹈錄像《天空之城：荃灣空間與舞蹈之旅》。經過指導和引領，將參加者的故事相互交流，並轉化成完整的作品。此階段亦設有跨代線上對談，透過溝通與交流，讓參加者發現自己和社區的關係，經過排練加深體驗舞蹈與藝術的對話。
在「天空之城：荃灣空間與舞蹈之旅」中，荃灣區長者透過環境舞蹈和城市觀察，重新發現自己的社區。從室內冰冷的空間到居住社區附近的天橋，再到荃灣海旁的開放式空間，舞者們以優美的動作串聯起這些場景，展示人與人之間的連結和交流。這部舞蹈錄像提醒我們重視社區互動，並創造一個開放與溫暖的環境，讓每個人都能享受到城市裏人與人的結合。
Through facilitation of a choreographer and an artist, the participants share their stories, which are then transformed into a dance creation and compiled into dance video 'City of the Sky: A Journey through Space and Dance in Tsuen Wan'
In "City in the Sky: A Journey through Space and Dance in Tsuen Wan," elderly residents of Tsuen Wan embark on a heartfelt journey to rediscover their community through dance and observation. They transition from stark indoor spaces to the footbridges connecting residential areas, and finally to the expansive waterfront of Tsuen Wan. Each dancer weaves together these diverse settings with elegant movements, highlighting the connections and interactions that enrich our lives. This dance video serves as a beautiful reminder of the importance of community engagement, encouraging us to foster an open and welcoming environment where everyone can come together and enjoy the unity of city life.
