Hi Jack great show, I am new to Australia from South Africa. I am very keen on trying to do some kayak fishing here. I live on the Gold Coast, and was wondering where is the best area to launch. I had a kayak in South Africa but that was mainly for inland. I was more in to hunting on land for buck. I will probably rent a yak from Australian kayak Specialist, they have the plastic Stealth available. Always great to watch your show thanks for the content.
Awesome Jack. Mate if I can ask three questions of you: (1) How much line do you let your baits trail back 20m, 30m or 40m etc? (2) Do you shoot to troll in a certain depth of water and/or (3) Do you troll a preferred distance off reefs when in your yak when trolling for Spaniards? I am in WA and still trying to work out if there are preferential patterns to troll with our yaks!! Thanks mate if you can assist Paul 😊
