You should watch the video of Ken Kaplan junior on the 2024 125 GasGas !!! I was floored! Amazing show of how great a bike it is when matched with a champion experienced rider.
I have years and years of experience with racing these bikes the only reason that you’re pressure dropped is because of when you disconnect your pump it makes a major difference on how the disconnect goes if you disconnect it super fast you lose a half pound and you’re good to go sometimes if you do a slow or not as fast you can lose up to 10 pounds!!!! Also had Schrader valves come loose on those so always make sure that’s tight!!!
Likely the negativity be chamber on the fork wasnt filled all the way and you compressed the fork far enough to add pressure to it on the first time out. That’s why the air dropped the first time but not after that
