My niece graduated from West Point in 2019 my family and I all went to see it. Truly an amazing place. We are all so proud of her for the hard work she accomplished. Go Army beat Navy 🇺🇸
GO ARMY beat Navy, Today on the field Army will beat down Navy..... Once you step off that field we are all Brothers in arms side by side, Love you Navy... After the game :)
The presence of Div 1 NCAA sports at military academies is worthy of discussion. I can only speak for West Point, but cadets are discouraged from continuing with traditional high school languages, and many take minors in Mandarin, Russian, Arabic and Persian. I am told that a typical barracks room can sound like the Tower of Babel at night as cadets practice comprehension and pronunciation. There are also majors in both international relations and strategic studies, where cadets focus on likely future allies and foes. My own son is studying Strategic Studies with a minor in Russian. I can at least assure you that there are football players in these classes.
Ah, some are.. etc & others later regarding Special Ops. Which, I don't know, maybe you've heard - Army ("Leads the Way") does allot of ie (Green Berets..).
