I took this bike for a trip after Diwali, from Delhi to Munsiyari(Uttrakhand), a total of around 1500 km (up-down). I was impressed by this bike. It faced some really bad roads, water crossings, off roads, but not failed even once. ❤❤
Avenger 160 street is currently the most affordable cruiser in the market and it is high time Bajaj gives it a much needed upgrade. In 2023, it is still the same old bike with nothing new to offer. It is surprising why Bajaj is not tapping the hidden potential of this bike. Just like Dominar 400, Avenger too is neglected at the marketing front. This bike needs a fully digital console showing gear position indicator, trip meter, distance to empty, and average fuel consumption. Plus, dual channel ABS and rear disc. A little tweak in design to offer bigger seat for pillion and bigger wind shield will add a lot of value to this bike. #Bajaj Auto, please wake up from slumber.
Also an update in the looks will be really appreciated. Just look at the looks the modern day cruisers have offered like meteor and hunter 350, keeway's new cruiser model or even jawa and honda highness. These kinda bikes attract the youth of the current generation, while a bike like Avenger 160 street is being ignored by the youth because of it's looks which haven't got an upgrade since it's launch, even though the bike is really good especially for the Indian roads. Hope Bajaj looks into this matter too.

Hlo sir current me 6-7 yr se bajaj 150 use kr rha.me long drive bhi krta hu 400-500 in one day.mujhe back ki issue hai.to kya mere avenger 150 thik hai 220 bhi hai but usme miliege issue hoga. Mujhe log highway, hills ride and normal city both use cahiye plz help
I brought it in Diwali 2022 at age 51😁. Enjoying it it performance.Sufficient power, sitting comfort for long rides. Economical fuel average, low maintenance and satisfying power( unless one is racing fascination). Promising Cruise Ergonomics👍
@@ashishabhate oh But can you say the city mileage approx ? Atleast 45 ? Because me and my dad are planning to buy this bike . He's also 52 , is it comfortable for long rides with pillion
@@tamizhan1197 yes not less than 45 km/lit.Pillon ride hv experien ed upto 50 kms. Due to low height pillion experience is comfortable.for frequent long PILLION ride suggest Avenger 220,though 160cc is even though ok.

Mere paas pulsar 150 hai per meri left knee gear dalte wakt bahut dard karti hai... So i am thinking to purchase this cruiser bike for easy gear shifting and relax sitting.. Please suggest me which bike I will buy. my daily traveling is near about 80 km
I don't understand why Bajaj Has not developed a bigger engine for the avenger platform And except the headlights And digital console there has been absolutely no research and development on this bike, dated specs, and inspite of knowing that the affordable cruiser space is empty, they are simply content with churning run of the mill products...except Dominar ..and chetak electric...no thrills with Bajaj
Bought 2nd hand avenger 220 2016 model in 2018. Till now i made 5 trips to badrinath and 2 trips to panch kedar with my dad. The bike is too comfortable to ride.
Hello.. What about turning radius ? Some people say this bike has some problem while turning around in busy streets . . Otherwise its great..I've given testride and hopefully I'll be buying this next month . Please tell me about issues regarding that . Will it be okay for me ? I'm 5feet guy and don't ride much bikes till now so far .

Told you it has starting problem. There is something wrong with the throttle control sensor and probably bajaj doesn't have any precautionary solution to this. I have put up a complaint with them over call, let's see how they respond. I am telling you if it stops and doesn't start while on a trip specially after sunset, all, all beauty will go away and you will run for your life specially in a empty road. Before buying people should carefully take stock of the sensors with the service people.
I had the same issue with my 2021 model. After filing the complaint against the service center (as they were not addressing the issue properly) , the issue has been resolved. The customer executive was continue in my touch and even had shared her personal number if the bike again face any issue.
I'm 5'8" is this bike suitable for me? I have seen so many Avengers on the road with rusting problems and panel sounds like it will fall apart.. what's your view on Build quality?
This bike is only meant for Rider. Very very uncomfortable for pillion. Reliability is also an issue. Have visited 12 times to showroom for multiple issues in 1.5 year . "Bike Purchased from Sai Service Fugewadi,Pune"

@@shreyasborwankar8410 same here..the bike literally shivers aftr 50kms..as if its running at 100kms..it looks as if the i am pulling the bike and bike is not pulling itself...engine looks too much stressed out aftr 50kmph
@@shreyasborwankar8410 since free service is going on..bajaj company is using their own brands..will definitely tell them in my next service which is due next month..btw it should be semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
