I’ve been watching your travel videos for a few years now and I don’t know why it didn’t dawn on me sooner to check out the Bandolier. Maybe because I am used to wearing a purse. But last year on vacation I stumbled on an observation platform and if I dropped my phone over the edge, that would have been a catastrophe. I was thinking how I wish I had a strap to hang onto the phone with. Have been scouring the Bandolier website for a couple of days trying to decide which style and color to go with first, while trying not to order one of each.

Hi, guys! Really useful reviews as I'm looking into buying my first Bandolier. There are just a couple of things I'm wondering about. Hope you can help me out! How does the phone lay on a table? Is it very wobbly, with Hailey/Donna and Emma in mind? Which one is more stable? I also use my phone with the magnet in the car, do you have any favorite among the mentioned models? Hi! The phone is a little wobbly when laying on the table, but this really depends on how many cards you have in the card slot. For the model, which model are you referring to? Phone model or the mount model used in the car?
@@travelpockets Thanks for getting back to me. Trying to clarify: The button is placed differently on the two models Emma/Hailey. Would you say Emma is less wobbly than Hailey, with the same amount of cards? Also, which one of Emma/Hailey is the better to use mounted in a car with a magnet? Hopefully it makes more sense now, sorry about the confusion. :)
@@jamnedesign I think since they both have the same little button they will both pretty much the same. I don't have the two products side by side to do an actual test, but that's my best guess. For the magnet, we remove our phones from the case and then mount the phone, so it doesn't really matter which case we use. Candy used to have a card magnet in the case, but since she put too many cards it was no longer holding the case up on the mount since it was too heavy. Therefore she decided to stop using the card magnet and placed a magnet directly on the back of her phone. Hope that makes sense :)
PS. These are really great questions! We'll have to do another video testing the wobbliness and show how we use our cases/phones with the magnet and car mount.
I'm not sure if it's a limited edition, but they have gone out of stock before. They might restock at some point, but if you're really keen on the leather one I would contact them directly (ex: via social media) and see what they say.
I’m just not sure about the practicality with the pouch attached. Seems like I have to twist the strap around and then the pouch is poking out toward me.
