I have a Nama juicer. You can make "un-tuna" with the carrot pulp. Use the same ingredients that you would use to make regular tuna. I put the mixture on spinach wraps. You can also make carrot muffins or carrot bread. With the pineapple poke you can put it in an ice tray and make flavored ice balls or ice cubes to place in your water. FYI... There are some tabletop or small composters out there on the market if you don't have a place outdoors. Or if you don't want to keep it indoors and you have a patio or place outdoors to place it you might prefer that instead. Hope this helps!
I juiced for the first time today and I love it!!! I made watermelon, pineapple, mint and omg so good. I don't really care for regular watermelon but this juice is 🔥.
The lemon peels are the most healthier part of the lemon. The peel has 5-10×'s higher vitamin C levels, than the actual juice. It also acts as a deodorizer, stain remover. It also helps with digestion, and decreasing high blood pressure. You can do so much with the peels. I usually boil my peels, and add ginger, to drink as a tea. It detoxifies the body. I also place the peels in water, and vinegar. I let it sit for a few days. I use it as an all purpose cleaner. Lemons peels are so healthy, and useful.
Just discovered your channel. I don’t know if anyone mentioned this already, but you may want to transfer the juice to a tall pitcher. It makes transferring EASY!! Thanks for the video!!
1st time seeing your channel. The recipes looked very tasty! As an fyi - apple seeds contain amygdalin which is a substance that can release cyanide. It would take a lot more apples than you used for this recipe but if someone makes a bigger batch it could be toxic.
You’re correct! I wish I would have said this in my video because everyone doesn’t know this. But I’ve been juicing this way for a while and in smaller batches! I wish I could pin this comment somehow 💙 thanks
You look beautiful! Thanks for sharing the simplicity of being able to juice. I love natural juices but I don’t have a lot of time to make it/clean up. You made it simple & effortless. Thank you 🙌🏾👍🏾
Getting into the juice world and as I searched for inspiration, I found your channel. Loved your fruit pairings on this video so I started here. I thought I would love the watermelon/pineapple and I like it well enough. It’s refreshing to pair with a meal. I thought I would hate the carrot/ginger one because I want to grow up and have skin like yours, so I tried it. I also want a healthy immune system too. 😊 LISTEN! I’ve had this juice every morning this week. Thank you for your wonderful content. Keep up the great work, my sister.
Hi! My Nama J2 just came in the mail yesterday and I'm so excited to use it. I def used your coupon code, so thanks!! Really looking forward to getting back into juicing.
Thank you so much, Briana! Day #2 juicer here. I’ll be making both of these juices soon. I noticed you didn’t get one drop of that juice on your white top!
Have you juiced citrus---pineapple, orange, grapefruit---by themselves in the J2? Not mixed with anything else? I have, and after a few minutes the pulp in the hopper gets soft and starts backing up, and the stream of juice is reduced to drops, which takes a lot of time. I have to dismantle the juicer and its very tough to disassemble it, as the pulp gets wedged down in the augur and isn't ejected. Just seems like a major hassle. You haven't experienced this? Thanks.
Per a watermelon farmer, seedless watermelon have nothing to do with it being genetically modified. It is when sterile watermelon is crossed and it’s the 3 rd crop , those will be seedless . 😮 I was oh wow when he gave the lesson
Greetings. I see that my initial question has already been answered. I was going to ask what kind of juicer you were using. How did you come about choosing that juicer? Really enjoyed the video. 👍🏽 Don't worry about the spills. God did not intend for us to be perfect. 😉
All of the information and the direct link is in my bio, it’s a Nama J2 juicer ! I have a discount code BRIANA10 as well. And more videos on my RU-vid showing this juicer 😊
Yes glass is better, it protects the juice and you don’t have to worry about chemicals possibly leaking into your juice. It is best to consume your juice within 72 hours and if you cannot, then it should be frozen! 💕
@@michelleforrest5487 hi! 72 hours 😊 and if you cannot drink it within 72 hours, then you should freeze the extra juice but make sure that you leave about half an inch of space in your glass so that it does not break when the juice freezes
May I ask why you transfer to the bowl than to the jars? I generally put my juice jars under the nozzle where the juice comes out. If u put it close up to the juicer it flows right in.
Same time too, if you kinda know what you want to buy there's always ebay and salvation army/maybe goodwill marketplace bids. I bought my first main working juicer off ebay. My Mom did the other option.
Why do people doing these videos not list the amount of ingredients... i.e. 3 red apples, a bunch of celery, a pound of carrots, thumb of ginger in the description? But we have a link to all the products she's an affiliate for.
@@njerinjuhigu1593 I made the video for fun and I have been juicing long enough to not have to measure everything So I did not measure ingredients out for this recipe. It was also my first RU-vid video??? The link was added later because I wasn’t an affiliate when I made this and I tried to link what people asked for. You need to learn to give people grace. I’m literally one person. Oh and I did purchase this with my own money
@@LifeWithBrianaLeigh Thanks for the feedback. I actually enjoyed your first video, but consistently have found this issue so I haven't watched others by you but it is helpful for those that would like to follow you and be on the journey with you. I have a Nama Juicer and am sending you grace and light as you move forward.
I’ve wondered the same. I’ve concluded we just need to play around with it to find the recipe we like. I’m opening my Nama today and just goona go for it.
I know i can juice everything but is it really worth to juice spinach, kale, brocolli pretty much green veggies? Will i get enough juice out of these or should i just eat them instead? I am in a low carb diet so i dont really eat a lot of fruits so will it be worth getting the nama juicer in my case?
Hi Nikki, check the description under the video I put the direct link for the juicer and you can use my code BRIANA10 to receive a discount on this juicer! ☺️
@@vonindigenous9722 yes, check out my RU-vid page! I have some different recipes and just posted a batch juicing video 2 days ago which included a green juice
When batch juicing you want to use a separate bowl to put everything in. What if one batch had more pineapple, then the juice would primarily taste like pineapple instead of a watermelon pineapple mix, so that's really the reason I don't do that. BUT I have done that if I'm making a smaller amount of juice. I hope this answers the question!
