The Victoria Curling Club in Victoria BC hosts the championships both provincially and nationally. In this case two pipers from the Saanich Peninsula Pipe Band brought in the curlers onto the ice. A tricky gig as the sound echoes off all those hard surfaces making it challenging to keep in sync. Curling and golf go hand in hand so it's a great way to start the matches.
