Shoutout to the managers at BMW Fairfax, Virginia for the help. Contact them for any sales inquiries!!! A couple of pausing during the video is due to customers looking at the car, the HD version will process in a little.
Hi Chris, thanks you for that quick review. I saw that you enjoyed the ride, and a smile tells somethimes more then a thousands words! Cheers from Switzerland.
Chris, your video is the first I have seen of all US dealers/reviewers for a M Sport model. This morning I saw a TFL video collab with Sofyan of Redline Review but they did a shorter review of the XLine model ... I liked that you played the optional music system, as I wanted to hear a glimpse as to how my x1 will sound like ! Plus, yours is the first US video to do a drive test ! Oh yeah, I have been looking at European, Canadian and US reviews of the x1, and none show or make mention of the car having lumbar support controls... but guess the sport seats will make it a comfortable !
Thanks for the review. I'm eagerly awaiting mine to arrive hopefully in the next month or so. There is one thing you missed though, the black mirror caps and fully blacked out grill is an additional charge, the standard M Sport package doesn't include this, you have to select Shadowline in the configurator (I think $300) to get it fully blacked out. Otherwise great video!
@@jimmartin3229 Not in the US, go configure one on the website and see for yourself. The trim included in the package doesn't include the grill being fully black, or the mirror caps.
I agree… I ordered one and had to pay extra for the shadow line, that includes the grill being blacked out. I also paid extra for the heated seats/steering wheel, but it also looks like it’s included in the premium package.
in order for it to have lumbar support it must have an additional button on the left side of the side. a button with for directions. it doesn't come as standard which is quite strange.
How does the interior quality feel compared to the ux250 you reviewed? Bmw clearly has the driving dynamics over the Lexus but the mpg/hybrid is such a compelling proposition.
I liked the interior quality in the UX250 versus the X1 which has Better dynamics and ground breaking tech. The trunk area in the UX is pretty small though so it depends on how much room is needed then it would be the X1.
I love the 20 inch, but I am coming out of a car that has 20s and I feel every bump. Plus, they aren’t all-weather so that made my decision for me. So, I upgraded to the 19s and hoping for the best lol
