@POV_Driving Does the 2023-24 x3 m40i have regenerative breaking? If so, how strong is it and does it kick in during highway driving or just when coming to a stop? Thanks, Joe
I thought a space saver spare was a stand alone option, if you got the standard size all season run flat tires. That is unless BMW changed the options on the standard tire offerings.
I hesitated for a long time with the SQ5 2023... then I ordered the M40 2024... my dealer informed me of the pre-orders open in August 2023 for Oct Delivery. But I'm hesitating enormously ... the idrive8 scares me a little but after that, the touchscreen doesn't bother me. do you think I should stay on 2023 instead? the fact that I'm not in a hurry, I really need the vehicle for around September. It's more about the comfort level of the suspensions that I'm afraid of the M40... I live in Montreal, Quebec and the roads are really not good with the winters we have here... I hesitate a lot with the X3 30e for reasons that push me to stay wiser and to have a less salty note on the gas pump... hard to choose, opinions?
Hey thanks for watching. I do not believe the X3 will be getting idrive 8 curved display screen for 2024. Not 100% but i think it stays idrive7. We do not have official information on that yet. I would recommend 2023 because it it stays idrive7 for 2024 then the only change will be a price increase.
@8:30, You are not supposed to ride in the merge lane until it runs out. You are supposed to merge into traffic if you are able to safely merge. Riding in the merge lane until it runs out causes accidents.
@@POV_Driving doubt it voids the warranty unless they pop up a gazillion warnings first. Don’t get me wrong, I hate watching youtube reviewers launching brand new cars off the lot, but it seems to be all over the place. I bought my M40i with only 10 miles on it, and I bet someone had already launched in on a prior test drive. Great video btw.
If this is a 2023 X3 M40i with the optional 21 inch tires, then a space saver spare is a $250 option. I was pretty sure of this in my previous commemt. However, I went back and checked the BMW web site. Your assertion that a spare tire was not available on a 2023 X3 M40i with the 21 inch tire option was wrong. There are few things that make as angry as a narcissistic know-it-all who gives bad information. Next time, before you make glib misstatements, go check your information.
