I agree with Paul. I maybe an Ash fan, but it wasn't that Ash was cheating and the Ford was far too quick and needs slowing down. It was that the other teams needed to upon their game. I've been there myself to learn that lesson in 2019 about the BMWs and Tim was right. It wasn't that the BMWs needed slowing down. It was that the teams needed to upon their game. Yeah, ever since Colin won his 4th title, everyone thought that 2020 will be where he would become the first ever five-time champion, while Ash only had one back in 2017, but now look at Ash and now we've got two four-time champions. I'm not discounting Colin, but as much as it'll once again be Ash Vs Colin, it'll now be a Battle For 5th. Moving on to Tom, he and Ash have been on the podium, not in every single race, but every single meeting. Indeed Tom deserve that 2022 title, despite that that was a learning year for all of the teams using Hybrid. To answer Paul's question, it was 2017 where Josh didn't win a race. But not only that, I've started my love as a BTCC fan back in 2013, I don't know when was the last season the BTCC didn't have a single Independent driver win and overall race. All 30 races in 2023 were won by Manufacture drivers. Well, whatever these new rules will be for this year (2024), the one I want to see is that, Race 1 at Knockhill last year (2023), it was no point to wave blue-flags, so if we get a very long Safety Car, then the lap-down cars should unlap themselves on the straights, which I believe is the safest part of the track to do that. Well, as a seven-foot-tall Ash fan, I'd love to see him win another 12, or less races and win to become the first ever five-time champion, but I'm not discounting anybody. No matter what some rude people say about last year, the BTCC is the best every year. I hope I'll see you both there.
