I have same car; 2022 model in Rift Metallic. Most people call it white & you can only see the difference when it's parked next to a white car. No regrets, the color is elegant & beautiful. It's more like a ceramic white. I specifically ordered mine with "Whisper" beige leather which looks off-white & compliments the exterior perfectly. When my Dealership saw it, they said I did the right thing. It's a stunner with the red accent stitching, torch red seat belts & carbon fiber trim. FYI you didn't mention the lighting on this car is 100% LED from the front cornering lights to the trunk light & all interior lights. The ride is firm, even when in "soft" Touring mode. It's never choppy or uncomfortable, but a far cry from the plush Broughams of the 80s & 90s. I've had sporty cars most of my life from Datsun 300ZXs to Camaro IROC-Zs, Corvettes & Boss 302s. This car rides far better than any of them. It's up to date, well built & high Tech. If I had to buy it again, I certainly would!
Man it's very cool hearing your story! Very close to my history! I had a Gold 79 T/A & 86 Black n Gold T/A! Still holding unto my 2000 10th Anniversary Firehawk🥰. I haven't had a newer car since the HAWK! 22years😒 But I'm about to purchase a 2020 Shadow Metallic CT5V w/performance package n 20" wheels n 14k miles! Please tell me how's life with the 5V? I wanted a Blackwing but can't afford it n the gas n the insurance🤣
@@703Speed Blackwing cars are too much for me. Matter of fact, after test driving the base 2.0 twin scroll 4-cylinder, the CT5-V may be too much for me. I’m thinking about a Premium Luxury CT5 550T. The perfect amount of luxury and sportiness for me coming from a Premier Impala with the V6.
I have 360 cameras without platinum pkg. I didn’t want platinum’s sedona interior. I ordered premium and added parking pkg and sunroof so I could have everything in platinum but able to get whisper beige interior.
I have a 2022 optioned same way as this car …handles beautifully stops great very comfortable car but needs more power…yes i know theres a blackwing but thats over 100K…
Is this going to change anytime soon? Looking to get one but want to keep it for a while before they bring out a new generation or something or cancel it all together
can't beat this car for value. If you have unlimited money then consider the Bently's and the Rolls Royce models. But for the rest of us normal people the Caddy is a good choice. Just my opinion.
Got a question. Do you think the Cadillac has the issues i hear people saying the Cadillac supposingly has? As far as the transmission and i forgot the other issue they also stated. I really want to buy a Cadillac but, real hesitant about it hearing about the supposingly issues
Too many luxury features removed that were present on the last gen CTS. Those econo-car vents in the rear replace what was dual climate controls, no availability on any trim level of heated rear seats and plastic paddles replaced magnesium paddle shifters. It's decent and drives well but the lack of the aforementioned features and that fugly C-Pillar that pulls the visuals downmarket make it a pass for me.
a V should always have 400 hp plus. Atleast as much as a Chevy(Holden) SS sedan (415 HP) imho. sad they really downgraded the engine here in otherwise good chassis. and where's the manual option?
They not have the CT5-V which is the V6, but they also have the CT5-V Blackwing which is the supercharged 6.2L V8 and that has the manual option. I do wish they would give the “regular” V at least 400hp. I think it would be a good marketing move
@@geerstyresoil3136this car is also faster than the LS6 and handles better. This is kinda like how BMW makes an M series that’s not a true M. But takes some sporty ness from it for cheaper
@@geerstyresoil3136I got your point but don't think it really matters much. The CT5-V 360 with the great 10 speed automatic combo is a luxory sedan with sport looks and fast enough to bite the dust of any pedestrian car, as a Mercedes E53. And is priced to compete favorable in that range. In the other hand, the blackwing is there to compete with the similarly price E63. Cadillac was very intelligent by not trying to have anything to complete with the S Class, because there the interior will be totally out classed.
