Super wet and muddy day today at Capital Cross in Reston, VA. These kind of conditions are usually my best, so I was looking forward to a good race. This course is also usually very technical and fun. I slowly worked my way up through the field to 4th and then battled back and forth with 3rd for the last lap and a half or so. It came down to a sprint finish and unfortunately for me sprints are not my strength! Overall really fun race and we lucked out with 52 degree temps in December for the last race of the season!
