My first renaissance festival was surprisingly awesome! The Carolina Renaissance Fest is packed full of really fun things to do. We did everything from blow bubbles to watching competitive jousting. Jugglers, musicians, singers, comedians, and circus acts were literally all over this ren fest. No lie, probably 10-15 shows to go to and most of the stages were going at all times! There is a lot for kids to do and museums for everyone. We also got to try a very interesting cultural dessert! I thought I might enjoy the Carolina Renaissance Festival but I had no idea that I'd like it as much as I did!

12:35 This is the King's Kitchen, one of my first jobs ever was shucking the corn right off the grill (The corn was grilled unshucked). It was kinda painful until you develop calluses on your fingers. However in later years eventually made the Turkey Legs.

You’ve stumbled upon our Royal Dance Ensemble at the end!! Performing “in the lanes” four times each day. 10:30 at Tudor Rose Pub 1:30 at Haven / Mermaids 3:30 at Haven / Mermaids 4:45 at Woodswalk Archery

I've been to CRF almost every year its been open. This place is so great! It is so hard to take in everything in one trip. You'll only see half the faire if you only go one day. You should check out all the shows, and all the merchants and all the music, and the joust......and all the everything. Theres just so much! Just go every year! Unfortunately, Miguel of Don Juan and Miguel, just recently passed away. So sad. He was so nice.

Oh no, that's terrible! He was awesome! 🙁 We will definitely go back again next year to experience more of it. We really liked it but it was a lot to experience in one day for sure.

How awesome! My mom is currently there. I really wanted to know what it was like since I had to stay home and take care of the pets! My mom said she was enjoying herself! I’m so glad
