2023 Changan Uni-T Review | Behind The Wheel 

Since driver assist features are becoming prevalent now in cars, I guess it would be great for you guys to not just mention them, but to show and test them as well.

Chinese cars today are head turners. Those retractable door handles are awesome. I know Jetour Dashing has it too and it's 300k cheaper. Too bad Changan has poor marketing. If you put it side by side against its contemporaries, it will beat most of them in features, looks, power, and interior.

this whole car looks like a design exercise and I love it. I don't think it looks like any other brand, it's just car design language looks so similar nowadays. Changan admittedly missed the mark with their previous models so this is much needed for the brand. I'm thankful for the reduction of the red trimming in the interior.

Looks unique. It's so nice to see some other cool vehicles on the roads these days.

I love that they decided to go with Continentals on those 20inch wheels. Experienced using Continentals and they are in my opinion the best daily driving tires when you want less NVH

the car looks good and it does have some performance too, and nice features.. so this will likely be a good purchase.. i saw a review about this car in china and it was said that the rotary dial for drive mode is the first to show some problem..

Nice review 👌. 1.6M for 16km/l is a bit much with today's economy and gas prices. Large tires also add a lot more to maintenance. Btw those are faux exhaust because it can't kill you if you cover them up😅

I saw one yesterday in gray . Ang porma sobra . The 20 inch tires made a big difference.

Hey Caco, when you press the door handle once it comes out, you pressed it again and it just make the horn sound, you pressed it the third time and it becomes horn-ny! LOL... 😁 Keep up the good work and the humor. 😄

I once read somewhere someone say the Changan logo looks like an upside-down Acura logo and now I cant unsee it.

Changan is the pioneer in curvaceous Chinese brand, inspired by Hyundai including the merging grille now followed by Chery, GAC and others.

At that price point it will be competing against totl Honda hrv and the new ford territory x. Hopefully Changan Phils. can market this car properly cause it can go up against the big boys in it's segment.

Had a chance to see this car in person, and I really really like the design and comfort of this car. Unfortunately, wasnt able to test drive. I'm a family guy and now Im torn between this car, CS55, and Geely Okavango.

with that fuel consumption i don't think it will be a great daily drive, unless you have tons of money to burn in the gas. But still the looks of this car is awesome.

Thank you for this review. I am saving up to buy this model. But I have qualms about it, being a Chinese car. If it were a German car, I would not be reluctant to buy at all. And as with most cars utilizing high technology features, I do worry that it will render the cars inoperable when the computer breaks down(e.g. what if the gear lever breaks or malfunctions). So, the only attraction left, which caught my attention in the first place, is that it has a built in PM2.5 filter in its AC. In fact, I think it’s the only car and model to have this important feature. And this is mainly why I chose this car to begin with. Anyhow, I will give it some more thought whether I will decide to buy this or not. Again, kudos for a well explained and nice demonstration of the features of Uni T. I also like how the name sounds. Sounds like unity. Something the world needs. P.S. the spoiler, the key designs are inspired by the Changan logo, hence the spoiler is shaped as such. Cool, right? And yes, the quad pipes behind are exhaust pipes disguised beautifully as part of the rear bumper design. Genius! Godspeed Autodeal.com.ph and stay safe!

You know I just love Chinese Cars these days. The design, the affordability, but you know what? I feel like I have the moral obligation not to buy from State owned chinese brands. Kiko is correct. Jack is correct too bec the exhaust is not fused to the silver tips. If fused it can discolor the silver tips in time

My first car is a Chana (Changan) and still working since 2010 but I would not buy Chinese cars anymore because of difficulty of getting spare parts and they phase out the parts rather quickly. even at the casa. limiting the serviceability of the vehicle. But to be fair, Changan is a reliable car brand over other Chinese car makers.

That's no spoiler. It's on the same downward angle as the rear of the roof. It won't generate downforce.
