I thought the rst only came with heated seats?? Im in the market and would like both but its not on the website

@Spicy Sage the 22 you could add cooled seats but with the 23 you can only get the vent seats in premier or high country I wish I had got mine in 22 cause that's a lot of money just for cooled seats

@@joshtumblin5893 since I live in Ventura county a lot of the surrounding areas have hills so… if I cruise control and don’t step on it it’ll be around 29-32 MPG. But driving thru Palm Springs I got 37.3 MPG for about 100 miles which was super shocking. Around town can be about 22 or 17 depending how late I am. For me I went with Chevy because of the RST package. There is NO chrome on the exterior and it has red leather stitching all on the inside. When I compared the 2 trucks while building them I felt Chevy had a better look to it… GMC you have to get a more expensive Denali. Just my personal opinion the plain Yukons don’t seem to have any style to them. Overall I love my Tahoe, still getting used to how big it is since it’s just me. When I have it loaded up tho with people and luggage the diesel engine is a monster going up steep grades… RPM’s barely move.

@@stephenbravo6528 awesome! We have a Lexus gx 460 now and love it but it’s just not big enough. I hate to give up the reliability of the Lexus, but I have to say of gms vehicles the truck based vehicles hold up pretty well, not Lexus well but I’m willing to give it up for the space. I almost feel rushed to get one because I feel like it’s gonna get discontinued since dodge deleted theirs and ford in their half tons already. But yeah we like the blacked out trim on the RST as well. I even said I wish Yukon would make a comprable version in its line up.

Even if they discontinue… all you have to do is look on a large radius search and fine one barely used. Funny you mention Lexus. I’m kind of feeling it’s maybe too large for me and to get around how I like that I’m considering the LS 460 L 2017 if I can find something with super low miles. Not sure yet since it seems impossible to find cars now.

@@stephenbravo6528 lol well I’m glad I’m not alone and yes I’ve always loved the LS can’t go wrong there! But the bigger the better for me. My first vehicle was my parents hand me down grand wagoneer, then a Buick park avenue so I had dual power seats starting out. So I blame my expensive taste on my parents 🤣

You have to get the optional luxury package the Chevrolet website build and price says it has it.

@@703Speed 26 mpg on the highway, 21 mpg in the city, and I’ve gotten 34.8 doing hypermiling ( just to test the engine ) So far I’m very pleased with the vehicle. Great suspension, rides amazing!

@@703Speed Nah, the 6.2 gets better gas mileage since it has the cylinder deactivation.

@@icebear4849 cylinder deactivation is the exact reason I advised him to get the 5.3. That is what (unfortunately) made the 6.2 unreliable

I’ve asked a salesman about it and they say that is what it’s actually for lol. That’s where your HUD functions would be if u had that, credit card holder otherwise

There was no performance pack when this video was filmed! I'm happy they have the Brembos now - I think that should've been an option from the start - especially on the RST

It's a nice trim for sure. But ol boy is right. It does look like an escalade. everytime I see certain trim Esclades, I get excited seeing my future Tahoe... ...but it's an Escalade when it pulls out! Man..the Tahoe looks nice.

I like the Toyota 14" too, but my conclusion withe Tahoe wins hands-down other than that. Bought an RST w/ 6.2 engine, etc. LOVE it, what a great rig!

@@703Speed ah I see I’m new to this sorta stuff I daily a 2022 Kia Sorento SX Prestige so this Tahoe is basically the first sporty looking car we’ve had we don’t daily it it’s a tow vehicle and we use to go beach trips and camping it’s got a few nice goodies tho including the panoramic sunroof which was a must and heated and cooling seats

I have a 2004 5.3L Chevrolet Suburban with over 188,000 miles. Chevrolet has a great motor that will go forever. My step-dad has a 2004 6.2 L truck with 200,000+ miles

Every one of my Tahoes and suburbans I’ve had over 200k miles. One I had over 500k, wish I kept that Tahoe, 2 door sport.

I have a 2020cSilverado Trail Boss with the 5.3 same everything as this SUV.....and 50K til this day and solid as a ROCK!! starts every time and work works and works.....

It will be outdated by then, anyway.

Saw another review of this mentioned that. For $73k doesn't have camera surround. New redesign Honda Pilot in $40k+ range has surround camera and front camera has washer. Seems like they would have thought about that when this vehicle was redesign.

Just got my 2023 Suburban RST. I ordered it and equipped to my taste and liking. Adding the luxury package gives you the 360 camara, power folding 2nd and 3rd row seats, power folding mirrors, blind spot detection etc. I paid 72800 MSRP, added towing package, trailer brake, sunroof and cross rails for the roof.

I don’t think the back is ugly.. Front is better though. I like the rear of the Tahoe better than the Yukon

@@Matthew-wn8oq here’s another doozy.. The F150 Platinum & Raptor do NOT have auto up or down rear windows, but the Bronco Sport ($35k) has auto up/down rear windows. Some things don’t make sense lol
