Just bought the 2023 High Country 3.0 Duramax in Northsky Blue. We love it! We took a 5000 mile road trip (literally right off the Dealer lot) from Arizona to New York and back. Zero issues. went through 12.5 Gallons of DEF, and got an average of 25.6 MPG with an average of 56 MPH (with 20-30mph headwinds 70-80% of the time.) Very comfortable, quiet, powerful and reliable. Tech is more than adequate. We choose the 3.0L because we plan lots of road trips, but if we just were to use around town and the occasional road trip, we would have considered the 6.2L gas, or 6.6L Duramax.
@DeLo Enterprises since these are on dealership lots already they might give you a key fob to actually turn on the lights aswell as the rear view mirror cam and see the infotainment screen.
I'm not a Chevy fan, but I'm not biased... it's a better truck than last year, but that gold emblem needs to go. imagine staring at that all the time... The front end is not attractive. The dodge ram and f150 just look better..
I just went on the online configuration for the high country. They brought back the umbra tan interior and the brown paint job!!! Put one on order through my dealership!! I hated that Silverado didn’t have the tan interior and the brown exterior the past 2 model years
@@DeLoEnterprises that's what I was just about to say because in high school I had a 2014 blue f150 limited with blue interior and it pops alot better in person than on Google images or filming the Interior.
Great video, thorough look at the truck. Constructively: measuring rear seat leg room by setting the driver seat to where it would be if you were driving tells us little about how much rear seat there is. Your viewers don’t know how tall you are. Many reviewers do this as well, and it’s equally unhelpful each time. It would be better to know a range of legroom in the front and back based on the full travel of the seat.
I'll take one please, but swap the interior with black leather, and swap the gold Chevy emblem to a black one👍. Perfect. Oh. Then take $15 grand off the price😁
Nice truck if GM lets your dealership order it for you. I put my order in on 6/13/22 and finally just gave up after almost a four month wait. The dealership said there able to order trucks when GM allots them but there for the LT or RST trim levels. There not allotting them to order the LTZ or High Country due to the fact that they use to many micro chips. Oh and after waiting however long for them to place an order it's then another 3 months for the build. And it may show up with chips missing so you'll get a truck that has options you paid for that won't be working. BEAUTY
Yeah I just ordered a TrailBoss RST Diesel 6 weeks ago I’m planning on it taking 6 months I was told they are only making 100 of them . This whole deal is absurd. There are way too many levels and models for what they can produce.
@@davidporter7051 RSTs are cool but high country's still the only truck I'd ever buy from chevy. Same with GMC on their denalis. That's just how I've always been with them but RSTs are nice too.
@@chrisholland2016 that is cool. But how I use my truck I would be cross with myself when scratched and dented scratched a High Country. If money wasn't an object there is a Denali Ultimate near here with the 3.0 I would purchase.
@@davidporter7051 funny you've mentioned denali ultimate because that's one of my dream trucks too. But I'd rather get it with the 6.2L anyways because I own 3 horses and that 6.2 can definitely do the work. But I see your point buy really all I'm doing is towing my horses with it I'm not gonna do anything drastic with it.
