do you find it strange that muslims can come to the west and succeed, yet muslim nations rarely succeed. only the oil rich gulf states can build anything.
Islam says a muslim man will get 72 beautiful women after death to satisfy his sexual desires ( prove me if I am wrong ). How can I follow a book which contains perverted principles and objectify women.Come on Muslim brothers and sisters, please come out of this illness. Islam allure you a life after death where you can get prostitutes, food and mansion for free. Islam completely destroys your brain. Please don't get brainwashed. Don't fall prey to the quran lies. May Humanity wins, quran fails.
@@littleteacher5230plz try to open ur eyes ,she said that since Muslims are always underrated and not all the time being viewed as who (their personality are ) that's why she said that . 😊
This girl was in my school in Jedddah, Saudi Arabia. I am not surprised of the level of achievement of which she has accomplished. She was very intelligent and smart and hard working back in school. Leen i wish you the best of luck.
@Ken Ken the kid is just a troll, ignore them. Probably not even a practicing Muslim or Muslim being sexist. May Allah (SWT) guide everyone to the right path.
As a non muslim, but with many Muslim family friends, I can say that Muslims are the most disciplined, hard working and nice people on this planet. They are the definition of no enemies and love.
I am a Christian man and very proud of my identity. I was very impressed and proud as a human to see the joy of this young Muslim woman; the pride she takes in her heritage and identity and the energy with which she will achieve her future goals as a medical practitioner. Well done and respect!!
Yup the sad reality is she can't do this in a real Muhammad's Shariah governed caliphate Islamic country. Yet she needs to be in a kafir country, in kafir educational institution and speak without any veil or niqab in front of thousands of kafirs who are non mahram without shame. I wonder if Islam is still relevant in this century. Muslims are bunch of hypocrites.
As a muslim and palestinian , im so proud of you Dr.Leen Al Kassab ,you are a great syrian figure and always will be ,i wish you all the best in your journey......
its true, but bcz mentioned first that she is from Damascus and also leen mentioned about her father nationality..there is no difference between lebanon and syria for sure…

Absolutely. It's just to recognize many of us have to get there without a parent or parents. Her speech touched on social determinants of health, so it made me ponder...my relative completed medical school yet her father didn't even show up to the wedding or graduation, and yes a Muslim parent highly regarded in the community. Leen's wise speech hit home but also emphasized the powers of family empowerment, support, and commitment to their child's education.
As a arab syrian muslim who's about to graduate from highschool in a few days with ambitions of studying medicine, she's is truly an inspiration. allahuma barek.
As a syrian, thank you and in order to get Syria on its feet again, all the world needs to educate themselves on the situation to see how miserable and unacceptable it is there

Mashallah the amount of sisters being selected to do the speaking at various schools is amazing! And this sister is coming straight from Harvard. This is a great way to show the world that Islam does indeed support women to be highly educated individuals.

Congratulations dear Leen I don't know you but I am extremely proud of you and I love every thing about you. Your speech, your hard work, your success, your hijab, your smile, and your beautiful soul. Hugs ❤️ . Your sister from Kuwait.
I love that she tied in religion and identity with the identity of being a physician. No one person's identity can identify an entire religion or profession, but as that one person, you can choose to be empathetic, kind and a rolemodel. Very beautiful speech!

I tear up listening to her speech.. I felt proud of her achievements as if they were my own and I hope every human being gets to celebrate their milestones after spending nights after nights sweating and in tears regardless of their backgrounds, identities, religions or their looks. It’s such a privilege that we get to celebrate people’s successes without witnessing their hardships. She must have gone through hell to be standing there, wearing her headscarf and unapologetically existing🤍🤍🤍
