If we get more Hobart classes we will have an asymmetrical naval force

A bit too late now they would need thousands of workers doing 8 hour shifts 24 hours a day on a war footing to build more destroyers and bring in conscription to man those ships.

I remember being accepted into the Navy in 1983 and walking around Melbourne feeling so proud. Did not join in the end😅.
