​@@703SpeedI'm highly considering both these options plus Lingenfelters 2650 kit w/upgraded valve train, drive shafts to get the 3 yr warranty. Or do their new 700 NA package which is heads cam & 95mm throttle body add AR headers, high flow cats & AWE touring exhaust to get over 600 hp & 535 tq per Lingenfelter. Its a VERY HARD decision as traction plays a huge role from here. My 16 ATSV w/501 hp & tq at the wheels just murders the tires. I have PS4S on and they break loose all the time. I love the Z06 sound and exclusivity ❤!! The pure rarity makes it unobtainium and that much more special. I love Forced induction ad my last 2 cars Tuned Mk7.5 Golf R tuned to 400hp/380tq & the ATSV. The turbo punch is an Adrenaline ride! However kills tires quickly. The heads & cam package for $15k is $10k cheaper than the 2650 & 4k than the procharger kit or about these #s. The heads cam has enough ho & tq to do the job but not enough to have to worry about excessive throttle control & killing the tires.

The people you mentioned are all out when it comes to hopped up C8s. Not your average persons cars. Many companies have provided turbos and superchargers for the C8, but I believe that the real-world daily numbers over base ARE NOT there. (0-60 mph, mpg, top speed...) Prove me wrong, Cleatus... I've done my homework, go do yours junior.

Reliability? The LT6 has been blowing up all over the place sadly, whereas the good ol push rod American muscle will handle boost no issues

@@703Speed Yes i got it at MSRP from macmulkin. I didn't get any options lol. Just a base model 1LZ in ceramic matrix gray with adrenline red interior and black wheels. I can't wait!

My 3LZ/Z07 is literally being built tmrw. Matte Blk because of “Stealth PPF”with Adrenaline Red dipped interior and every piece of carbon fiber $$ could buy including the rims..

@703Speed honestly never thought of it, haven't even checked to see what compression is on the zo6 motor, might be a tad high compression for boost, didn't think about even checking that out

​@@703SpeedGM dropped the compression & went to cross plane crank for the turbo turbo ZR1. Rumors has it theyre olaying with different displacement mules from 4.2L and up. When I visited Ruck Corvette Conti he said theres a new engine setup coming before the ZR1 was announced and there will be a LONG build run for C8 with the Grand Sport coming soon before C9 models are introduced in 2030 or later as they want all the $$$ they can get out of C8 and to get the production #s to where they should be 40k Stingrays, 15k Erays 15k Z06, 4k-7k ZR1

Hope you retuned your car as youll gain hp & tq. If you did headers too thats another 30- 40 tq if American Racing per Steve @ LMR

I'll bet that $30k includes more than just the procharger. There was work done to the DCT and clutches to handle the extra power.

Where you finding a base ZO6 for $111k at? Especially 5 months ago?

I need the 3LT/Z packages and there are many items that are needed such as the front lift & GT2 seats, PDR. The 1LZ is base no rear view cameras no blind side monitoring which is much needed. Plus the front cameras only on the 2LZ and up.

​@@703Speeddude I own a LT3 Z51 C7 outright and they almost got me for that Z06. They wanted 155K for LZ3 Z07. Black Rims, big wing and all black interior. They wanted to give me 43K for mine but when I thought about that car note... I passed. Interest rates still insane and I'm basically 800 credit score at 33. I can't justify paying a higher car note than a mortgage when I own a Vette already lol. I wanted it so bad tho.

Keep in mind my Vette is a 15 and I didn't even have 20k miles on it yet!

Did you get the 2650 Lingenfelter kit installed? Did you get the Warranty? What tires do you have and are they good enough or need Cup2s or R?

Sadly the compression is too high & the engine is a race engine with crazy tolerances. Make sure to warm up your Z06 or you'll nuke your engine.

Procharger for $30k? Lmao. Get a used one, cheap kit and pay someone cool to fab/weld everything then find a tuner. If you pay 10k you overpaid like crazy.

Yes. All C8's so far are NA. And it appears as though some, if not many future models, will be EV, which I'm not a fan of. Btw I have a C7 ZR1 ZTK. And I like the fact I can fill it with fuel much faster than I can charge an EV. BTW, My neighbor had a Tesla Model S plaid and made some runs on a 1/4 track. Drove home. Parked it and connected it to the Tesla charging system. Next day it wouldn't turn on (didn't take a charge and fried the battery). Tesla refused to warranty it since he 'raced' it and subsequently charged it which overheated the battery. He said they complimented his ET's however.

MacMulkin does MSRP and are awesome to work with. Theyre # 1 dealership in USA. 2-3 yr wait for Z06 as of today. $5k down needed. C8 Stingray no wait time just build time same dealership $2k down. I was told by God to wait until Sept to put my 5k down for my Z06.

Z06 isn't quicker, faster around a track... but in a street race or a drag strip, shorter races favor the supercharged c8. My S/C C8 has almost 650whp, the Z06 has 670 at the crank.

It's "loaded to the max" because that's what I prefer, the car is daily driven with weekend trips to the dragstrip or autocross so maybe 1 of each 100 miles is spent on the racetrack, hardy worth giving up 50 lb of luxury. In the 1/4 mile 100 lb will cost you about a 1/10 of a second.

Some people want no compromise. I always like a fully loaded car with full luxury and style plus performance over a s box stripped down to gain 3/10s on a 1/4 mile.
