It somehow seems louder in 2 cyl mode. But I'm sure it's just a trick of perception.

It's also 20 pounds lighter and has no cat so it's got more power and torque. And a even better look to the bike. And ya. Sounds better than stock. I put it on mine... Zero regrets. It's just so good. And ohhh it's just the best street bike. You gotta try one if you get the chance.
