Thanks bro just picked up my RT yesterday. Decided to purchase it after watching your review. Really was the deciding factor. Watched again after purchase to catch any features I may have missed. Great Vehicle, really satisfied thus far!
I bought a 2021 Dodge Durango RT tow-n-go brand new. I have suffered many issues. The main problem was the tires, wheels and steering wheel shaking real bad at higher speeds, as it was impossible to get this SUV balanced for some reason. I had numerous allignments and wheel balances at the dealership to no avail. I eventually had them replace the tires out for brand new ones under warranty since the tires were all cupped. These tires are $600 a piece. This helped for a little while and then the same shaking came back. I also had severe brake shake, whenever I hit the brakes coming to a stop. The steering wheel and car shook badly. I had the dealer replace the front rotors and the replaced the pads as well under warranty which they pushed back on really hard as they don't normally cover the brakes or tires. This made me feel like Dodge supported my cause and made me happy for all the time wasted at the dealership for diagnostic and repairs. Replacing the front rotors and pads did fix the shake with the braking. These rotors and brakes are a fortune... $1400 just for the front. Eventually, the out of balance tires and wheels were addressed at a Discount Tire store with a something called a (road force balance). That was never offered at the dealer, because they do not have this very expensive machine. I have had two additional (road force balances) and seems to be ok for now. I have also had contunuous issues with the infotainment system showing errors and having to delete that error message all the time. In addition to that, the weather app never works correctly, it is still giving me issues today. They said there is a bulletin out on this issue, where they have to change out all the wiring behind the dash, but I have decided to pass on this repair afraid if they pull apart the dash, might open another can of worms with rattling. One other note... the doors never lined up properly on the driver side, meaning the trim on the bottom of the windows was not alligned properly. The dealership did attempt to adjust that for me and it is better, but not like it should be. The passenger side is in line though. The car is a nice SUV, somewhat fast for it's size, but the seats are hard and gets uncofortable over time in longer hauls, especially in the back seats. I like the fact it has plenty of room inside for people up to 7, and you can fit all kinds of large items with the seats folded down. I am in this car lease for one more year before I have to turn it back in, as the trade in value is much lower than what the payoff balance is on the lease by around $6000-$7000, which is substantial. This vehicle does not hold it's value like the Ram 1500 or Grand Cherokee limited does. Avg mpg is 14 in the city and 18 on the hwy. It does not need premium fuel. IMO, Chrysler does not produce high quality products. Chysler does know how to build beautiful looking vehicles though. I only have 27,000 miles on this car and can't wait to get out of this for something different. Thinking about a Toyota Four Runner or Tundra. I don't need the muscle anymore. I just want comfort, and quality that will last over time and not have to deal with all these mechanical and electrical issues. I will say that Stellantis has been pretty good to deal with, as they have done more than what I expected and stood behind their product.

To me, it would make good sense to have more overall power in a much heavier vehicle ( compared to a Charger or Challenger for example) instead of less. The 5.7 HEMI in the automatic Challenger makes 372 hp compared to the Durango's 360.
I haven’t heard anything about a new generation Durango, I believe they’re introducing a new “Stealth” model replacement in 2025 or 2026 which will replace the Hemi with the Hurricane twin turbo V6. It’ll probably be faster but if you want the V8, this body style will likely be the last chance to get one 👍🏼
Alright bro I got it What you suggest for city driving which trim I should go for ? Jus give me 3 options so it’s gonna be easy to pick one of them Thanks
Well your ST is tuned plus it has a turbo the srt and rt are stock if you want a good race or to be worth your time then you need to play with a hellcat Durango so let’s make sense here because I have a turbo rsx types that’s has 650 at the wheels and it rains 9.8 in a 1/4 mile and I know your ST won’t see that because I ran a couple modded ST and focuses too st and Rs so think a little you know but at the end in the streets we don’t know what anybody has so is different you saying here what you have and saying that there slow then I think your wrong there
Only a small few even understood this bro but I would like to confirm your valid BUT suvs are given performance for fun lol I just want an suv that isn’t dog shit slow and real car guys are gonna get a hellcat Durango or just leave muscle alone and go for the svr route like f pace and stuff you know
So, you told us about all the features. I think you did a great job introducing the suv to your audience. That being said, is this really a review? A review would be more along the lines of having driven and used the vehicle for a certain period of time and reporting your findings. A review would probably include customer satisfaction and reliability data for the past 3-4 years. Call me a stickler but I think a review should show a feature and also describe how that feature actually performed in the real world. For example, showing us how to access the 3rd row seat and the actual space provided by the 3rd row seat would be considered a review of the 3rd row seat. Anyway, nothing personal. Thanks.
@@Alwaysbeclosing1774 yeah tell they to the Durango hellcat that will drink your fords collant for lunch. Lol. Simmer down hating is a female characteristic.
@@Jordanfiend361 " real grown men don’t care about racing bud" LOL, Yeah I hope 105K Dodge Durango Hellcat can beat my 58K Explorer ST. Those 80K SRT Durango's can't keep up though. Sounds like you have an identity crisis based on your own comments. Good luck with that!
My explorer ST does 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds and smokes the SRT Durango and will absolutely walk the RT. 360 camera Panaramic roof my custom exhaust sounds just mean AF . 500 HP and about 500 torque. ST with a tune, whipple intercooler, and exhaust for the win.
Yeah it’s just Too bad it’s so plain and boring looking and not aggressive looking. Or dummies make them look like cop SUV’s lol also real grown men don’t care about racing bud. Enjoy.
