I wake up at 5:30 EVERY morning because my dogs hold me accountable. Lol. It gets me up out of bed take the 3 of them outside for a short walk (yes, I’m that lady in her robe and slippers walking my 3 dogs in the morning) then feed them, make coffee for me and my husband, he leaves for work and then my kids get up whenever during the summer but usually 6:30 for school. That hour I have to myself makes all the difference. I usually have my coffee and watch the morning local news or start a load of laundry or do whatever I need to for myself. I like the idea of getting a workout in during that time. Need to start that as a habit and eventually lifestyle. Thanks for the idea. 😊

I'm thinking I will start the 6:00 am challenge after school starts. I naturally wake up around 7 every day so I think I can handle moving the time up by 1 hour 😁

I’m an early bird so I’m way more productive in the mornings. I am one of that those people who has already started shopping for fall. Got my fall candles…..bring on fall!!

I’ve found I am most productive if I get dressed first thing (nothing fancy…usually T-shirt, shorts) but most importantly I HAVE to put sneakers on! I have special house sneakers that I only wear inside my house, but I am so productive as long as I have them on. If I’m barefoot or slippers, nothing is getting done! 😂

I get up at 6:00 before anyone else, that's time I sit aside for myself to have my coffee, shower and start the day. I'm looking forward to Fall, this heat has been terrible!!! Have a great week Lauren!!!

Hey Lauren…good luck with the challenge! When I was a SAHM when my boys were little, I never got up before them but my house was reset every night the night before. Now, I’m up so early and it’s a peaceful time. I’m not ready for fall decor on you tube yet. Summer just began here not long ago and it won’t get fall feeling until late Sept.

I am so proud of your determination! However I’m going to skip this challenge. I consider 5/6 am the middle of the night. I’m retired and usually stay up late then sleep in the next morning. I’ve waited a long time for this luxury. However in my younger days when my kids were little I did get up early. Right before I retired I HAD to get up at 5:00 because I worked 45 minutes away I chose to work the early shift. Only did that for two years. Now I get up between 8:30-9:00 am. Depends on what the day has in store. Love your videos and especially seeing little Oliver. He’s such a cutie pie.

Im w9lith you on the challenge. I've been so lazy this summer and getbup right before I have to sign into work and feel so rushed all day. Im going to get up at 6 with you! School starts in a few weeks, and that's when my boys get up to catch the bus, 7th and 1st grade! It'll help me mentally prepare for school to start! 😂

I always have to keep the baskets of clean laundry in my room until I'm ready to fold it or Jackson will have it all over the house. 😆 That's hilarious about the plant and Olliver! I love the July challenge. Good idea to get into a good routine. I'd love to wake up before my kids if they didn't get up at 7. I don't want to get up earlier than 7 if it's not a school morning if I'm being honest. 🤣

I get up at 630 now but I was defintely considering bumping it up little bit and definitely trying to get to bed sooner as well, I feel like most moms we don’t get into bed until 10 or later. I wanna challenge and push myself to at least be in bed by 9.

I remember switching my sons bed to his own room last fall a month before our daughter was due, that’s the only reason we switched him and he was a little over a year and a half. It was so bittersweet and I cried and missed him in there but he loved moving to his own room. I hope your mama heart is doing okay now, it’s so sweet to watch them grow but so sad at the same time😭❤️Hope you have a beautiful Sunday with your family!💜

Hubby and son are sleeping Late today, but I woke up for your video (and coffee 😀). I want to create a cleaning schedule too, as well as one for the zones in our home (I heard about this monthly deep cleaning process through people that follow the Fly Lady system, like the channel '27 Fox Place'. I'd love to do your challenge. I normally wake up to an organized house, but have the bad habit you mentioned of lounging in pj's if I don't have to go out. I recently cancelled our Instacart subscription, which will force me to go out for groceries (and not in jammies 😂). Please don't stop sharing Oliver's funny comments- todays were so funny/cute. Y'all have a blessed day!!
