This is quite the most amazing WIP parade I’ve ever seen! You are so organized - I want to copy your brain. Love the variety in your projects. The checkerboard style is different but I would like to see it filled in. But you do what you want and or need to stitch on. Stitch with me’s are nice on a full coverage piece. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡

Wow - what a marathon your WIP & start parade has been! But I've loved it. You have so many gorgeous projects on the go or about to start. I do think keep going on the checkerboard - it's the only one like that so keeps it interesting. You'll laugh - I was working on part 1 of the Durene Jones SAL as I watched this one. I'm doing mine on one of those printed Aidas from Charles Craft (the blue & green one) and I'm loving the pastel colours. I am leaving off the floral and button border so that it will fit a bit better (but I wanted to try that Aida so thought it was a good one to do it on). About to do the backstitch which really brings in the detail on her designs.
Oh girl, you are the best. I guess I better buy new Pom Poms🤣🤣🤣. Catching Rays I say start filling in and you can always go back to checkerboard. You will be stitching it for a minute🤣❤️. Love all your projects and you know I’m going to cheer you on all the way. Merry Christmas sweetheart ❤️

Thank you so much for this saga of WIP parades, it was so much fun. Yes for stitch-with-me-s (I already watched your last one, you're a really fast stitcher). I do like the checkerboard style on Catching Rays, but I'd be anxious about the page lines. I myself change the style of stitching pretty much every session, don't know if I could stick with one style. Never tried it. Thank you, Jenn, I've enjoyed every minute of your WIP parades. Thank you! I actually stitch faster than what was in the video even, I was slowed down bc I was recording and the phone was in my way 🤣🤣 and I’m slightly anxious about page lines, that’s why I was debating on keeping it checkerboard or not

I think you could alternate one checkerboard square and one fill in square to be able to have 2 areas to stitch on depending on how you feel! Great WIP parade I got a lot done in 10 hours on my Reaching Skyward using Twilight and Pelican Gray weeks on Milk and Honey 32 count evenweave.
The checkerboard on Catching Rays is a fun idea! As long as you're not getting page lines, I say go with it. What you could do is treat each page like the center of a 3x3 grid and random draw a number 1-8 to decide which page to do next. (Neddlecraft Dani is doing that on one of her big projects.) Of course a stitch with me would be welcome! What are your favorite potluck dishes? That's what I always struggle with. I have enjoyed this massive wip parade immensely! Hello Jenn, I have stuck with you for the entire marathon. It was great. I don’t think I’ve known of someone doing that many hours-as far I’m aware, you’re the champion. Yay! I like the checkerboard way you’re working on catching rays. Perhaps you can do it that way for a while. It gives you more to see of the whole piece as you’re completing it. Yes, I do believe it would be fun to see a ‘stitch with me’ from you now and again. Congrats, this was a big accomplishment, like you’re the queen of the world, right?! Whew, I am finally caught up 😂 I had to pause a few times to go and look things up with maybe a sneaky purchase here and there (the downside of being in the southern hemisphere 🇳🇿). I admire your ambition and just know you're ready for the new year. PS I hope the carpet survived 😂

Regarding Catching Rays, I think if you continue in the checker board method, it will give you more choices to go in different directions down the line. SWM would be awesome 👌. Thanks Debbie!! I’m not sure if it was end of year blahs or the page finishes in general that was making me question it, I will have to look at it again with fresh eyeballs next time I pull it out. Someone suggested putting all pages that could be done on a wheel to decide where to go next, I might try that!
Awesome wip parade. Saw pieces that I would like to start and at least one that you showed is also one of two oldest wips which is the Three bird watchers. These two wips will become my daily 30 in 2024 until they are completed. The rest of my wips are all new starts, because I just go back into stitching. A lot of these starts are kits that I have had sitting around for a long time. Would like to join in the 25,000 challenge just need to know when it starts and hashtag if there is one. Jenn, I am still 3/4 into watching Part 5. I am not sure there are enough calendars days in the year for you to complete even the first goals on all of these projects? Hopefully, I will understand more about your approach when I finish watching the last segment of this episode. I will be working on my 20 WiPs while watching you slug away at your massive undertaking in 2024. And I've finished the Wip parade! That's a lot of new starts and wips! How many do you think you would have started last year if you weren't doing no new starts? I am looking forward to seeing how this year works out for you. For your 25K Sal, does it have to be 1,000 stitches a week or if I'm short one week can I catch up the next? For the Sal does tent stitch count as one or would it count like in the group challenges? I'm doing the 2024 Haed Sal and this would keep me up to date on it. You could just catch up! The goal is the whole amount in 25 weeks. My project is tent stitch, and I’m going 1 for 1, so 1,000 tent stitches will count as 1,000 full crosses. She and I decided it that way because she’s doing full crosses but one color, and mine is a high confetti piece so we figured it was fair 😂
It’s in the 2024 editions of World of Cross Stitch magazine! You can get the magazine from bookstores, I believe Joann’s has it too, but I’m using the Readly app
