Loved the series. Short but got all the important points across, told us what was important, like what the evening news used to be. Only thing I'd suggest is a nitpick, some of the vlog footage was a bit shaky so would be nicer with a gimbal.
ONE time in my life, I want to roar like Kaynan did after winning double gold. If I get third place in my masters 2 local comp… I’m turning into a mfing T Rex
We europeans are cannon fodder for the Brazilians and the Americans. We do not have to structure to train professionally like them often we have to work plus training and of course this won't work because we aren't fully committed to the training. This is not fair for us plus it's an championship not an open. They come to destroy the Europeans and breaking the little confidence that we have. I'm not racist or anything like that but this championship belongs to the Europeans not the American or Brazilian. Again this is said respectfully with no intention to harm anybody. 🙏🏾
why can brasilian and americans compete in European championships? Doesent that ruin the whole thing? Like in any other sports its only Countries in Europe that can compete in euros
I can understand if you have dual citizenship in both Europe and Latin America. But other than that no. Like for example Anna the wife of soccer player Park Jooho was born in Argentina and also have swiss citizenship. So her kids could, if they want to, compete in the Euro and Latin American championship.
Nice vlog as always ! But come on you could have choose a better french rap music than this one... You have Booba, Gazo... and some other french rapper that produced way better song than this one...
Europe has an underdeveloped jiu jitsu scene at the moment. A lot of top Europeans don't have many high level training partners and depending on where they're located they may not have much opportunity for frequent competitions unless they spend good money on travel. They're definitely on the come up though🤙
@@Sebjitsu I didn't say bad, I said underdeveloped. There are plenty of really high level europeans that have won at the highest level. Jiu Jitsu just has deeper roots in Brazil and America and therefor we have more practitioners, more competitions, and more money that is invested into the sport. Like I said in my last message, they are on the come up however. Tommy Langaker, Espen Mathiesen, Tarik Hopstock, Adam Wardzinski are all great in the gi. and the UK has a ton of high level no gi athletes like Ffion Davies, Eoghan o'flanagan, Ashley Williams, Sam McNally Etc.
@@GrapplingTVBJJ I think “underdeveloped” is the wrong term. I’d rather say “overlooked”. To my knowledge, we have all the main comps (ADCC, IBJJF etc.) + comps that don’t exist in the US (Polaris, AJP(?)) + a ton of amateur comps, especially Grappling Industries happening 4x / year in many main European cities. To my knowledge, the only relevant comp that we don’t have is WNO. Now Brazil is obviously still the big cat in the game, and there are without a doubt some of the best grapplers in the world from the US, I just wouldn’t call us Euros underdeveloped. Maybe rather say that we’re growing, fast.
