A big difference is 402a is the only way to get the transfer case with 4A mode, so same/similar to what you get with the Raptor. Nice to have in scenarios where road conditions change frequently between good and low traction, e.g. driving to a ski area
Very helpful video... it have been really helpful to have a little bit better editing to visually highlight package vs package... but I appreciate the side by side
All I've owned is Lariats with the 502A package. The lights alone makes me do it. I have a 21' Powerboost and it has everything the platinum has except message seats that i could care less about. Definitely the way to go in my eyes
@@higherlifts420 i beg to differ. My f150 lariat wasn’t even in the shop while my friends new 2022 toyota tundra had a fuel injection failure and poor turbo lol toyota shot themselves
Panoramic sunroof is an option on either. I think that affects payload a lot, I was looking at one with 401a with sun roof which had similarly lower payload
Why buy a truck when you can buy a house with that kindof money. These prices do not track with the way economy is going. Covid is over, chips shortage is over, supply chain issues are also over, plentiful skilled workers are available. None of these trucks cost the prices they are asking for it.
@andrewcarr2416 I'd probably go with the powerboost or a 4x4 Sport...because of gas mileage... I'm not offloading as much as my imagination leads me to believe and I've been driving way too much lately. But the decked out package is nice (I'm coming out of a 2017 Tacoma) regardless of the trim.
I have a 23' 402a w/sunroof and the 3.5L and love it. It is very nice inside and out. Seats are comfortable, B&O sounds great and I can hear real exhaust from the 3.5 vs my 18 Platinum fake sound piped in. LED lighting is great and so are the active headlights. Glad it has the Torsion and 4A as it was helpful in the snow at 9,000 FT this winter. The 3.5L is a rocket. So much torque and such a fun/fast truck to drive. Very capable truck and looks great doing it.
