2023 Ford Maverick XLT Tailgate Assist Instillation Instructions 

This video depicts installing the OEM tailgate assist onto the Ford Maverick. This is yet another addition that I got for “free” with my Ford reward points. You do still have to pay shipping and tax on items though. Nobody else on YT has shown what happens if you attempt to leave the bottle opener / tiedown in place with the tailgate assist. I decided to incorporate demonstrating that into this video.
