2023 Gibson Les Paul Tribute Guitar - Full Setup 

Had the same problem with the strings hitting the bridge. I like to keep my stop piece low to the body. So, I used the wrap around method. You know, wrap the strings around the tail piece. I believe it sounds warmer and has more sustain. But what do I know. I know it works. Love my Tribute.

oh man... you SAVED me! I had no idea the PCB meant you couldn't just swap out the pickups! ahh, man... i gotta figure out what I'm gonna do. Need to try a Heritage H-150 maybe.. or a Tokai Love Rock? I want a body as close to a LP as possible, but I've never liked Epiphones, and Gibson's QC is *pitiful*. Went to try out a Tribute the other day and I don't think I've EVER held a guitar w fret ends that were done worse... i know i can just file em down but i was shocked at how poorly done it was. and if i'm gonna buy a standard, for $3K it looks like a similarly priced H-150 might be a better value proposition. appreciate the vids! genuinely, again, i don't know why nobody's mentioned the fact that you can't just swap out traditional p/u's, given iirc I've even heard someone suggest doing just that to save some $$ vs buying the standard, which seems like what your client intended to do, bc the 498T's in the Std iirc.. i really like the understated clearcoat look, almost better than most anything glossy I see... looks more elegant, a bit less flashy to me. and ime good copies play so, so well.

This guitar has a 490T in it already. I had one.

Thanks again for sharing. Please let us know if/how the owner replaces the PUP. This Gibson/Epi PCB is a pain for those that want to replace the PUPs. Been looking to see if there were any adapter plugs out there. Surprised it doesn’t come up that much in my searches.

tributes come with a 490t in the bridge,..

My SG faded does same thing and never found a way to make it not do that.

This guy has a little bit of technical ability. But not much. Graphite is what you want on the nut, Lemon oil on a rosewood fretboard and let it soak in overnight.
