2023 GMC Terrain SLE - Do You Get SURPRISING Features For The Price? 

A very nice SUV for under $35,000. A lot of smaller cars cost much more. This car is equipped with most things you will need and use. The engine has plenty of HP and torque to get you around town and on a trip. It was not made to be a hot rod.

My wife and I both do not like the push/pull button shifting, but we otherwise LOVE our Terrain!

I love my 2022 terrain and I added Flowmaster muflers with more boost for the turbo and also added yokahama tires

I have a 2019, the push button shifter never was a concern. Clears up a lot of space

I purchased this exact model a week ago,and so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought gmc last Wednesday sle with pansonic sun roof absolutely love this car not speed demon but with two turbos get up and go

I have a 2020 Terrain with the SLT 2 pkg with 252 h.p. and I like it a lot. It does require premium fuel but I like the fact it’s got more than enough power to get out of its own way. Decent fuel economy if you’re not punching it all the time. I’m up in Canada and this car listed for $43,000.00 CDN. I have the panoramic roof option too. I also have the heated steering wheel besides the seats. It took a while to get used to the electronic transmission control but it’s the norm now. I like this car, it’s not perfect but it’s very nice. Prices have shot up since Covid. I personally think they’re using this as an excuse to blame price hikes on just about everything.

I am impressed at the "hidden" cargo space under the rear deck. Fuel economy wise it's dern close to the 3 cylinder models ot there, I'm looking at the Chevy Trax ... but the base Terrain in the SLE sells for about $6K ($25K vrs $31K) more with both the Trax.Terrrain equipped the same interior/exterior option wise. I think for as long as we keep cars it might be worth the extra money to think about going with the Terrain.

Solid SUV but underpowered. 175hp is not enough. For Terrain to be able to compete GM needs to increase the HP and introduce the hybrid version.

Yea, and where pray tell are all the 15K trucks GMC Mary Barra promised? 33K is more than double that offering price advertised. Therefore I call BS. Another ploy play by GM.

Under $35000 is still too much for an average person. The problem with cars these days, if you want a brand new one, be ready to pay a big fortune plus insurance to insure it. And so many nut jobs driving around, that can easily destroy your car on the road, even in parking lots where they ding, bash the door against your car every stinking day, I don’t expect cars to last long cosmetically. My car’s entire right side is destroyed - dents, scratches, paint chips, you name it. Nobody gives any concern about not damaging other peoples property. And most of all, they run. And that car has that price puffed up! Once it leaves the showroom floor it will dramatically depreciate and you wont get the same amount of money for it if you try to trade it in. $33000+ is stinking overkill for a base model. It should cost $28000 at maximum or even less with all taxes. The prices on vehicles are overinflated and dealers should be ashamed of themselves by selling cars at these prices. What the hell happened to the buying power of a dollar I wonder? Now you have to pay more for much less, stupid fraudsters. It is not worth that price - no car is worth that price. Cars have become so expensive that it is impossible to get a brand new one without a car loan and be stuck paying thousands a month for it. Your choice is only as good as your credit and finances. So, pardon me for being nasty, but I personally think price like this is bull crap, and people should be able to get a vehicle for a reasonable price and save in the process. Be it brand new or used. I am no economist, but if you want to sell more, lower the price, it’s that simple. The more expensive, the less people will buy. Damn, what a bummer.
