Im so glad you had a wonderful year, Blair! You seem very fulfilled with life. I had a transformative end of 2023 myself. In May, I went through a terrible breakup. With someone who I just KNEW was going to be my husband. When you know you know, and I knew. But turned out I was wrong. He broke up with me very suddenly when things were going really well. I.was.heartbroken. After that, I told myself I couldn’t let my life just crumble. So I joined a new gym, I joined a book club, I started going to a new church, and I started a Tik Tok about being a reading specialist (my job) and grew it to over 1K. And turns out, I’m at one of the happiest points I have been in my life. I had to lean in and trust God like never before, and I’ve gotten my joy and peace back in a way that I didn’t have before. It’s still a journey because I do feel like some of the things I thought I would have by now were kind of halted (engagement, marriage, growing a family). But I’m still hopeful for 2024 🎉
Blair, I am so happy for you and your family that your 2023 was so full and joyful. I truly enjoy being alongside you all (virtually) as you walk through life and share. I am so grateful for the peace and joy you put out into the world by being so open and honest while sharing your journey. I don’t know if you see it or have ever thought of it as a missionary experience, but I certainly feel it acts upon me as one. Thank you for being you and for sharing. The other day my Significant other and I celebrated our 9.5 year anniversary by going out to dinner and the people at the restaurant asked if we were celebrating anything and we told them and I think they kind of felt it was silly for us to be celebrating that but a few days after that I was reminded of your word "celebrate" and the meaning behind it and I told my Significant other, you know I think they kind of thought it was silly for us to be celebrating that but if you only celebrate once a year I mean who's to say you're going to make it to the next year to even celebrate so we should celebrate the little things.
2023 was the year of getting my chronic illness in a better place. Also was the year I moved into my own house alone + figured out it’s okay to do what I want to do. Sadly it ended with my best friend losing her mom (and her dad passed away 2 years ago) so I also am in the mindset of time is limited and to do what makes you joyful. It’s been a true joy to watch you grow this year Blair!

Wow, 68k!! I'm SO happy for you and can't wait to see this channel grow. This video definitely made me tear up when you started talking about your cousin. My son's death has made me realize you just never know when you're time is up. So many things are second guessed once something sudden and tragic happens that way. Unfortunately, 2023 was definitely the worst year of my life. However, God has shown me grace and strength to get through. Your videos and others that I follow, definitely have helped cheer up my long days. This video definitely gives encouragement to keep pressing on and to stay motivated and positive.
