I've had a CBR1000rr since 2014 and I'm planning to grab a Grom for most daily riding. Having a lot of power is great and all, but eventually you want a little bugger to whip around 🤣
Agreed I have a zx6r and still love hopping on the Grom and having some fun. It’s not all about the power all the time. Ride safe! I hope you get one soon bro.
Just pick up my 2023 grom as a second owner with 115 miles on it, after paying a renewal sticker, registration & tax come out at $3450 total on Dec-2-23. I keep it all bone stock.
I bought a new grom last Thursday but I havent gotten it over 53 MPH, all stock right now. I'm probably being too careful with it cause it's new. Thanks for the vlog!
Thinking about getting one for my first bike. I'm between this, Rebel 500, Rebel 300, Ninja 400, and Z400. I just don't wanna get a Grom and regret not getting something a little more powerful. But I think Grom might be a nice way to get started and I can always resell it in a year or so for another bike.
Honestly I would get the Grom so much fun although the power isn’t there you won’t regret it I also have a video on 600cc bikes if you want to check it out
adjust the shift light. its so annoying. im 2022 grom with 4k miles. great lil bike. wait you only have the exhaust and can hit 75? is it adjusted for the front sprocket change? i have tst airbox, expensive tyga high exhaust, dhm flash, and windshield and hit 72-73 max on a good day. but can cruise ez at 60. stock these things go 60-62 but with difficulty
It currently has a 14 tooth front sprocket and the exhaust no other work has been done. With the sprocket change the actual speed is effected by a few MPH.
It’s going 0.93x what’s stated on the Speedo. For instance if the speedo says 70 with a 14T front sprocket then it would be saying 65.3mph with a standard sprocket. Assuming the speedo is accurate from stock but they tend to be a little optimistic on all vehicles. Not sure if this is the case with the Grom.
