Nice bike Jimmy! You could lower the handlebars by unscrewing the 4 bolts that hold the steer in place and adjust the angle a little bit.

Nice!, But I'll warn you, once you go down the Harley customizing rabbit hole,there's no turning back. I've had several ( currently 2, - '01 1200 sportster and an 04 Heritage Softail) be prepared to subsist on Ramen while all funds go to bike parts! Lol- glad you're enjoying it,ride safe!

Great riding areas out in Palmdale; I used to live off of O-8 and 30th westside. to clear my head, I would ride out towards the poppy reserve then cut down Munz ranch rd. towards Elizebeth Lake. Ride safe brotherman.

Nice bike, the great part about owning a Harley is how you can change parts and pieces to make it your own. I have a 2019 Sportglide that I’ve done a lot of work on that has made it unrecognizable from its original form. It’s my closer to home ripper now because I also own a 2020 Roadglide that I use for my longer distant traveler. By the way it was 0:03 nice to have you at the LA Live Annunaki Premiere, it was an awesome experience. Maybe I’ll see you on the road sometime. ✌🏼

Sounds like to me you were sold a bike that really didn't meet your requirements. I would have suggested a 1200 Sportster. They're faster, lighter, and can be customized to look like a cafe racer with little money. And yes you will need to re-tune the bike no matter what exhaust you go with. Lastly, get those bolt covers off your ride. They will rust every bolt that has them on it. The way you set this up is favoring short distance riding. A bar hopper is what we call those. Your plastic seat from HD won't rust but that Saddleman will with that metal pan. You probably didn't get a gel seat so it will be hard on your butt after 150-200 miles. Since you live in California, Emissions will fine you for modifications made to the air intake, exhaust, and any flash tuning to keep your bike from running lean. When you added that air filter, you allowed more air in but not your fuel. Check your spark plugs for lean condition every 500 miles or burn up your engine from being too lean. Not criticizing, just simple advice your mechanic isn't telling you. I've been riding since 1978 and have met two mechanics that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Pacific Mike and Billy Lane. Mike is in Southern Cali, not sure about Billy...

Hey Jimmy, as a fellow rider I was glad to see this video! I have a Harley Davidson Low Rider (and a couple of other bikes). I'm sure you'll be happy with that Saddlemen seat, I have one on my Gold Wing. Interesting about the bolt covers, I didn't know about those (I'm new to the Harley world, all of my other bikes are Japanese). Also, I'm with ya on the fairing. I didn't think I'd want a wind screen on my Low Rider, but I realized I was riding it less than my Gold Wing simply because it didn't have the wind protection, so I bought one. I agree with you, I didn't want saddle bags on my Low Rider either, but I did decide on a leather swing arm bag. It's more low profile than saddle bags, and I can just take it off if I want, but I like it. Glad to hear you ride every day! I do too.

I ride a '23 Low Rider S and want to change out all the crinkle engine parts to the beautiful polished parts as on your bike. About a thousand dollars. Will def. make it stand out. Enjoy your HD.
