The Hill Tucker Pre-Law Institute is named for legendary civil rights attorneys Oliver Hill and Samuel Tucker. High school students from all over Virginia participate in a week-long introduction to the practice of law. The Institute reaches future lawyers at an early age to provide them with exposure and opportunity to explore the legal profession, all at no cost to the participants. Students attend mock classes, as well as seminars on law-related career opportunities, test taking strategies, the college admissions process, and more. Sponsored by the VSB Diversity Conference and Young Lawyers Conference, and generously supported by the Virginia Law Foundation. © Virginia State Bar.
