2023 Home Run Derby Full Highlights | Relive the best moments from an EPIC derby! 

Who else misses when you’d actually have time to appreciate each home run and see where it landed?

I don't know how the MLB can keep screwing up the Derby. When they brought in the time limit it was so much better and we could still see the balls land. For some reason the MLB thought "More HR=Better" so they kept pushing it and now we don't even get to see where the balls land because the hitter's don't have to wait anymore between pitches. It's horrible to watch on TV. The announcers most of the time weren't even telling us when balls went out. They need to go back to making them wait for the ball to land so the viewers can see it and appreciate the home run and then the camera comes back to the batter for the next pitch. I don't care if that means we will get less home runs. There's no point to having more homeruns if we can't see them. Also, the bracket is illogical. The first round should be all 8 batters competing against each other. The top 4 move to round 2. Then you could either have 1seed vs 4seed and 2seed vs 3seed, or do the same thing as round 1 and have all 4 compete against each other and then the top 2 face off in the final round.

What Adley did was so cool, his round will be remembered forever.

Always hated this format because it’s just a stamina derby. The HRD was at its best with the long bombs and Berman.

The timed format blows honestly it was so much better when it was 10 outs, actually got to watch the HRs

They should be doing differently skill competitions instead of just a HR derby.

Make a change in the format ('seeding') for the final. Vlady should not have had to go back-to-back with about a 3-minute rest (gassed) while Arozarena had to wait 47 minutes between pitches - 'coldish'/zoned out - and if not for lack of power, he would have won easily, recovered.

Julio's first round was LIGHTNING, loved how hype the crowd got for him. I'm an Astros fan and I was cheering so much. But damn if Adley's round didn't amaze me too.

Fun fact: the longest 6 HRs were all Luis Robert Jr.

I actually dont like the style of the home run derby. Just swinging as fast as they can at everything. I wish it was slower and focused more on who could hit the biggest bombs and closest to 500 instead of who can pull the most over left.

Would have been better if people had time to enjoy the home runs, at least wait till they land before the nex pitch. It looked like a sh*t show on tv trying to watch both sides of the screen with a bunch of people running in the outfield making it look even more chaotic.

I absolutely hate these camera angles. I want to see the view from behind home plate or at least a side view. I want to see the full view of the ball path. I also want these guys to have more time between pitches. One so we can have time to appreciate each homer and two, so we can get more bombs. Idk, I can’t even finish watching these highlights. So not enjoyable

I don't like the brackets. Some really good guys got knocked out in the first round just because they happened to be placed with another great hitter. Plus, it forces hitters to go all out in the first round resulting in obviously fatigued hitters in the later rounds.
