Real Time awd performed better than I expected. It transferred torque succesfully eventually, although not very quickly, and the cvt transmission was not overheated. This crossover seems very good all around. Unfortunately in Europe it comes only in fwd hybrid configuration. What will be your next test?
I was actually happy with the AWD system overall. This vehicle is definitely not made for this. Coming up next is a Lexus RX350h then a Nissan Frontier and a Toyota Tacoma.
Very nice review!!!! I have a 2016 hrv. It goes places you would never expect. Little bit of momentum usually gets the job done. Also, when you get snagged up just floor it and let the system spin wheels. It takes a little time but it usually figures it out. Traction control off makes a big deal.
Welcome to the channel! That's intentional, the goal of all my videos is to test the vehicle and it's ability to transfer power to the wheels with traction, not how fast it can go over an obstacle. In most cases, the slower you go, the harder it is for the vehicle.
