I'd go EX-L because I don't want 20-inch wheels, half-glass roof or holes in my seats.

It would be perfect except for missing the removable middle seat. That feature is really nice and my family uses it all the time.

I live in Maryland. I don't think anyone can buy EX-L for $43,295 It will be close to $50,000 or bit over on the road.

Bought this same exact car! Same trim same color! I am getting the rims painted gloss black and having a hitch installed! Two things I need and want! Cant wait. I pick it up in 2 days!!! Thanks for the review!

This Pilot will last long, still have my 09' and brought in '08. Hopefully '24, '25 will have 3.0L plugin hybrid and have at least a 40mile electric range

Big miss on this model is not providing a moonroof….that is deal a breaker for this trim unfortunately…

My 2007 honda pilot has a moonroof and its an EX-L 4WD with the factory navigation system.

No moonroof, you won’t have the water leakage from the roof, this is the most common for this model year.

My wife has had a pilot and 2 odysseys and never has used the moonroof on any of vehicles.

I feel the same as you did, however, after traveling with a friend I noticed he had a panoramic roof and it was open for only 15mins during a 1hr trip and not opened at all in the return. Sun was so hot the ac was struggling to cool us. After giving it some thought I realized I can live without it. It’s still a miss from Honda but not a deal breaker for me. I rather it had a 360deg cam and roof rails as well. Another miss.

Very nice (Black looks great, love them wheels) looks like the front end has been stretched a bit on this new model, we have a 12 Pilot EX-L we're still driving as a secondary car, our family owns several of these as well, a 2013 Touring and a 2022 Touring these are great vehicles, if we were in the market for a new 3 row SUV it definitely would be a new Pilot!

Does the 2nd row middle seat slide or can it be removed? I like he cup holder but would be great if you can remove it as well. I think you can in the odessy.

No, only the middle seat can be removed but not the outboard seats. For now, the magic sliding seats are only found in the Odyssey. When the 23 Pilot came out I thought it would have been great to add the sliding magi seats for the middle row.

I dont like Hondas new engine ! because its direct injected only and that is the problem for me !! Overtime carbon build up would be an issue …

Honda is always cheap with updates. It could for the reason they have Acura as a more upscaled segment of cars. Previous model is also terrible with fit and finish body panels.
