CHC, I just picked up our RTL-E today and although we were very fortunate in that my salesman was really pretty savvy on the setup, he was surprised that you could pull the internet into the vehicle. I sent him your video....most appreciated. I think a large audience for the Ridgeline is the "older" crowd (we're 70)....and this crowd has lots of their music on CD's from over the years. Maybe you could do a video on recommending a portable player and how to get it up and running thru the truck. I know it would be most appreciated without having to download each CD to a stick...... Hi great channel and video. I set up my 2023 Honda Ridgeline rtle to lock it's rear door and all doors 10ft away. It's really comforting Knowing you truck doors are locked.
I just drove home my beautiful red 2023 Ridgeline sport base model and I love it.. and I don't care if it doesn't crawl over boulders or go through 6ft of mud.. I love every single thing about it.. The Macho men that got to have a lifted Jeep can spend their weekends working on their Jeep and I'll spend my weekend traveling and camping

They have time to act like fools but no time to help promote your new models. Your sir did great. I am trading in my sierra denali ultimate for the 2023 ridgeline. I grew tired of the parking issues with these huge trucks.one thing no one mentions in reviews of Ridgeline is the HEATED wiper zone. Living in PA it’s a big deal to me.

Great tips and tricks - I think this is a great vehicle. Most owners I talk to love it. My only issue is the drivers speedo screen - looks like it’s out of the 90’s. The entire screen setup should be improved / modernized.
just replaced a 08 with a 23 and appreciate the tips. the hotspot setup is the bomb. all we need now is the android car play to operate without a cable.

Tailgate locks w/doors?!! Hum.... when I had my 19 Sport I had to buy the lockable (w/key) TG handle assembly. This is cool as I've ordered a 23 RTL-E and was wondering if I'd need to do that again.
I’m wondering how to electronically fold the side mirrors after parking. The manual indicates a button beside the mirror adjuster, but mine doesn’t have that button. Could it be programmed electronically on the touch screen?
What do I do to make the radio screen show up when I start the car like my 2020 civic used to. I get the screen to select the source not the radio screen
Great question. Turning the radio on is a process. It shows a volume level on screen that blocks 25 % of the screen. Insane. What do I need to SEE the volume level when I can hear it. It’s another distraction on screen as you are trying to drive. You cannot blindly use the radio. You MUST see it to use. Taking your eyes off the road. No radio buttons to feel. Just a touch screen you have to look at. It won’t allow you to use the gps while driving cause it’s distraction. But it allows it allows you to do same to use radio ??? INSANE.
Has the infotainment system been updated/upgraded from 2020 to 2023? I have a 2020 Sport Ridgeline and the “buggy” and slow infotainment system is the main thing holding me back from going with another Ridgeline.
2023 rtl-e still getting try to figure things out. Any way to configure the audio to stay on until I open the door? It's very annoying that it shuts off as soon as I shut the truck off. Also, can the auto start stop be permanently disabled or reverse the switch so that I would push to activate this feature?

How do you turn off the beeps when you lock and unlock the doors? I find those very annoying especially in the early morning or late in the evening, don’t want to disturb my neighbors. Just got my Ridgeline this week, really like it, but very much dislike the beeps.

The auto lock is cool except I walk away in the garage and it locks. I forget something in the vehicle and find it locked in the garage. I have to go back in the house to find me key and come back out. Easier for me to lock the doors when I get out. If I kept the vehicle on the street only it would be handy.
I love love LOVE my 2023 Ridgeline. But I hate hate HATE the screen ,, too complicated. To simply turn on the radio takes multiple taps on screen. It won’t let me view directions while driving but I am allowed or forced to try to visually navigate the screen to operate the radio. INSANE !!!
I just saw your other comment from five months ago mentioning heated wiper zone. It sounds like you to have the RTL-E or Black Edition. I have a walk-around video sharing all the standard features and functions.
Your video was very informative. I have a 2023 Ridgeline Black Edition and the info screen is totally different than my 2019 Passport. There are 5 blank home screens, but I have no clue how to add an app to these screens, ex. Sirius XM. Any suggestions?
Congratulations on your new Honda Ridgeline. I had the opportunity to play around more with installing apps onto the black segments on the touchscreen. Im guessing it could be done with flash drives and internet explorer on the touchscreen if unlocked. There has to be something online showing how and which apps are compatible. I appreciate your support
If you have a photo on your phone you want to use for wallpaper can you plug your phone in instead of a flash drive? When I imported a photo from the flashdrive it did not take up the entire screen the way yours did. Is there a way to adjust the screen to get full coverage on an uploaded pic?
Accessory Mode, hit the start button without pushing on the brakes. You have two different modes in Accessory and third time turns it off. Thank you for watching
Is there a way to set it up so honda doesn't sell your information? When I bought mine, the salesman set up my infotainment system for me. He agreed to all the sharing. Can I change that?
From a security perspective, its best to NOT use the All Door Unlock feature. Car Jackers, or worse, will linger around parking lots and if they see a vulnerable target, will follow to the vehicle, then jump in a side or back door when you approach.
i have had my Ridgeline for 5 months. I set it to lock all doors as soon as I set it in gear. Also that no doors unlock when I stop or turn off the engine. When I open my drivers door all other doors stay locked for that reason !
I have a 2022 Ridgeline rtl e wireless charger don't work and the automatic dimmer doesn't work either called Honda just give me the run a round what's up.
The wireless charger pad could be two things. First, double-check if the pad is on and then make sure the phone is fully on it. Second could be that maybe the phone or the phone case is not compatible with the wireless charger. The automatic dimmer mirror also has a power button on the mirror itself, check that.
I have the same issue with my wireless charger not working. Dealer replaced it under warranty with another dud. Called Honda and expressed my displeasure and got the run around as well. Crappie wireless charger.
2023 black edition, went through all that and it locked once, now it won’t lock at all and it’s enabled. Also remote start is finicky . It started once now nothing. 100 miles on it 🤷🏼♂️
