Ordered ours last week. What you get for the money is utterly insane. Cannot be turned down. There's also the Hyundai warranty. I honest don't understand why anyone would buy a competitor. The only downside is how hard it is to get one!
I’m sure in some places it’s tough to find but here in LA we have a lot just not too many AWD and that’s the one I wanted but they had them but the places that did tried to rip me off hard so kept stopping around and found a place we could agree but need to wait a week or 2 to get here. Super exited. But if you don’t care for the awd in LA you can find a few. Enjoy your car guys.
I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE driving it and it feels like I'm in a luxury SUV. The bells and whistles are ridiculous on this vehicle. It's so comfortable too.
I think it's coming on the redesign. This is just a facelift. Plus, Hyundai is currently working on a full EV 3-row SUV, which may replace the Palisade.
@@mountainhobo In case you're living under the rock or was born in Jupiter, but vehicles are moving to electrification. There won't be any ICE vehicles by 2035, per our Government!
I bought a 23 highlander xle and don't really like it. Just recently came upon the nissan pathfinder and went for a test drive today and it was awesome. Might sell my highlander and buy the pathfinder. I'm kinda on the fence on buying the palisade because of the old school engine carbon build up, and other issues that it might have in the future. Did you buy one?
The grill is beautiful and I love the front. The vehicle needs folding side mirrors, a handle for the driver above the window and headlights that move in the direction the wheel is turned. Then it will be “perfect”, IMHO
Just went to an auto show yesterday- sat in this vehicle, a pilot, mdx, atlas, Durango, Tahoe/burban, wagoneer, expedition, ascent, and even compared to the telluride sx prestige this center console to button to screen touchability was my favorite. It felt the most comfortable and most catered to the driver, the phone placement is nice and felt great leaning on the center rest. The only seats that were more huggy and comfortable was the mdx’s. However it would be nice to get the XRT styling in the calligraphy. The chrome is meh with the gigantic grill.
Hyundai has a program called "shopper's assurance" that promises "transparent pricing." I'm in the Baltimore region and the scum bag price gouging car dealers around here all wanted $3,000 to $5,000 dollars ABOVE MSRP for a Palisade Calligraphy- so called "dealer adjusted market value." I finally found Bob Bell Hyundai in Glen Burnie that subscribed to Hyundai's shopper's assurance and sure enough- no hidden fees- straight sale for msrp. Hallelujah! Hopefully more car dealers will follow suit. I'll be damned if I pay a bribe to a car dealer for the "privilege" of buying their car.
I m very upset that the wind noise by the driverside is still an issue. So many 23 calligraphy owners have been taking their vehicles to the service department for this issue. I have been following the Palisade forums since 2020 and unfortunately the issue is still there. I was hoping that Hyundai would have addressed this issue with the 2023 new design however they did not. They even added more sound insulation to the vehicle as an overall improvement however now it makes the wind noise issue more noticeable due to lower road noise.
One thing you forgot to mention, most new cars has self close side mirrors which they skipped on the palisade but value of the car very good if you can buy without the mark up.
Shopped the Telluride and Palisade in person. Have to say the Telluride refresh is a step back on the front in. It has this scrunched look now that makes it appear less rugged. The Palisade update is a huge step up. Narrowed the style gap between the two. Prefer the Palisade design this year because the look is unique.
The 22 model had aluminum buttons on the front climate, radio, nav buttons. The sued headliner, diamond stitch seat and door panel covering was better quality on the 22 models also.
Hi guys! Is the $55.5K expensive price for the 2023 Palisade Calligraphy AWD with 850 miles (but they said it's still new)? The nearest dealership has one and I am not sure if the price is ok.
From my point of view your paying approximately 2500 markup for a vehicle with 850 miles. Thats your call but dont settle is my advice or patiently wait and find the one your heart desires
I have heard this complaint numerous times in reviews. I really don't see what the big deal is. I close my mirrors manually when I get out and its no big deal. I would rather NOT have another power operated gadget that adds to the price of the car and is something else to fail.
Hyundai always thinking outside the box with features. It has 2nd row ventilated seats and 3rd row heated seats! You wont get that in a Highlander or Pilot. I've seen the new Palisade in person. I must say, that grille gives it a strong presence. So much better looking in person. You won't mistake this for an Highlander, that's for damn sure!
It's funny, people either love or hate the front grill. I personally love it. The Limited trim level and below have black shiny plastic grills that just looked cheap to me. Some people have commented about the "chrome" but the grill is really more of a brushed aluminum as opposed to shiny chrome. I love my '23 Palisade so far and it's such a pleasant driving vehicle.
This new refresh Hyundai Palisade makes the Toyota Highlander looks like a welfare case! The Koreans really set the bar in the car industry. It forces other brands to do better with the style and technology. I'm so proud of Hyundai. It used to be butt of jokes. Now, they getting the last laughs!
Well Toyota won’t do any better now Looking at the palisade 99.99% the rumored grand highlander already lost in comparison to the palisade before anyones even seen it. That’s how good Hyundai is. Making future Toyota or Lexus products irrelevant
Intel inside? No, Japanese Mitsubishi's GDI engine technology inside. But 30 years old transferred technology, and no innovation. That's the reason why Hyundai market does not exist in Japan.
The Highlander was my first choice until I sat in and test drove the Palisade. It didn't help that the Toyota dealership didn't even have any vehicles in stock and it was going to take months to get one. The Hyundai dealer had tons of inventory and 2 Calligraphies. I chose the Calligraphy since it was only a couple of thousand more for so many more features and comfort.
Just bought a loaded Hyundai sonata limited and it's AMAZING. By far best vehicle I ever owned. 1990 called looking for it's outdated vehicle perceptions
Completely disagree! Love the new front end. The grill looks more aggressive than the outgoing model. I also love how the turn signals are hidden in the grill design
