Can't resist sharing my experience & feedback... I am just amazed at the way Hyundai reinvents itself... Frankly, Palisade has already started giving Merc GLS tough time!! With this 2023 model... Hyundai hit all the right notes 👏🏼 - a super happy customer 🙂
Took delivery of one 2 weeks ago. You are absolutely bang on with this review. I too walked away absolutely amazed by the palisade after test driving it 4 months ago. Drove it to the Gold Coast from Sydney and it was such a comfortable drive and the power of the diesel is surprising. The interior is “legit” impressive and this from a former Euro snob (having come from an X5 F15, and a Range Rover), the one big thing missing is the electrically adjustable steering column which I feel is a bit of an oversight. The thing which did annoy me is that the LHD markets like North America gets electric 3rd row fold, ambient lighting, massaging driver seat and more bells and whistles. Oh, and the final small gripe is the lack of lighting in the 3rd row which has a overhead light but only works when the tailgate is open or the passenger turns it on; this should turn on when a door is opened and side lights in the loading compartment should have been used to illuminate the rear cargo/load space.
As a chauffeur, one reason I chose the Audi Q7 over the Palisade recently was because it was quieter - I'll go and test the new model to see how much it's improved. Thanks. Btw 7.4s 0-100 in my base model Q7.
Acceleration 0-100km/ = 10.2 seconds. 🤔 Acceleration is apparently good when compared to the curb weight of the car and the horsepower is only 200 horsepower + the engine only has 1 turbocharger. 👍🏼😎
Can someone clear a confusion for me please. In Australia, we get the Palisade Calligraphy and the Palisade Highlander trims. What is the main difference between both? Aren't they the exact same?
The Calligraphy is basically an updated version of the Highlander, with some minor updates, to the glass and a couple of other bits and pieces. A new name at a higher price. We put a deposit on a Highlander on Saturday, and we believe we received a very good deal as a "run out" model.
Bud can;'t make fart jokes and then state oh it smells like their foods and their car. I would find it insulting. The jokes did not land. Presentation was good, shots were good, but the jokes....
The previous one looked better, it had timeless design. I guess the new one actually is a lightly better but I'd still rather buy the previous one second-hand.
I disagree, the number of people that literally are blown away by this SUVs looks is crazy, it is definitely the new grill and lights which attracts the ones who love the big Cadillac Escalade look.
