The overhead shots are breathtaking. It's like a multi-limbed, living, breathing creature spreading over and attacking the landscape. Awe inspiring video, Isak, as always.
I am drawn to volcanoes, so fascinatingly powerful and beautiful. I would like to live in Iceland for a while to experience them. So far it has only resulted in a climb of Etna, a visit to Vulcano and a canceled trip to the active Stromboli due to gale force winds that prevented our sailboat from mooring at the harbor pier.
My favourite clip was when some damn fool repeatedly flew his FPV drone through the eruption plumes - I was watching at my desk on my PC and I kept ducking!!! Outstanding work, Isak.
Hollywood is going to have to step up its CGI game if they include lava within the script. No more plain red / orange goo! Got to love how the lava looks flowing across the landscape! PS - Fantastic footage! Loved the way it contrasted with the sunset? in the background
Agreed!!! This is the highest quality volcano footage I've ever seen!!! Top notch professional world class! I felt like I was there IRL best helicopter ride ever hahah! In full screen it's like VR or 3D you feel like you're going to fall into the lava! Stunning drone work WOW!
I really love the sky shots. The colors in the sky are beautifully rendered and the contrast with the dark ground and the orange is so satisfying. Watching lava never gets old when it’s photographed this well. Thank you for sharing this stuff!
Hello. Very impressive ... and dangerous ... that can melt your drone...what is the minimun hight distance you must keep to avoid damage to the drone? .... Many Thanks
23:59 what on earth is that inside that hole? Lol strange shapes this volcano did make. Amazing footage ❤ cannot believe in 3 weeks it achieved this much. Crazy the scale of it. Then the thing we just had on 18th dec did more in 2 ½ days apparantly
Hahah yeah I have no idea!😅 saw many new things at this eruption, well on each eruption we find something new🌋 Yes the last eruption was in turbo mode for sure😅
I finally had a chance to sit down and take this all in! I remember, like it was yesterday! I still have over 300 pics from flying with you and @afarTV's 24/7 cams. It was incredible seeing the 'Finnbogason Formation' in action again! I've even got a still of the hikers' high five! Which has got to be my favorite shot. It really does sum up the feeling our dear Kobbi gave us! Your talent and expertise never cease to amaze me! Im so happy to be a part of this wonderful world you have shown us all! Thank you Isak, for all that you do! You, my friend, are a treasure!
Wow! This is absolutely beyond spectacular!! The color and patterns, the sound, the flow, so powerful… it literally took my breath away!! Thank You 🙏 ❤
