I have a 2018 indian Springfield dark horse and I am absolutely in love with it. I wish it had a little more power but that’s what upgrades are for I guess. Apparently these water cooled models make much more power but I also like the appeal of having less to worry about with an air cooled engine though it can feel hot between your legs though it doesn’t bother me much
Been really contemplating on this one. The 2024 model which is probably the same has 122 hp and a good amount of torque. My question is does it have enough at full capacity up hill? I have a sport bike with almost the same hp but it weighs half of this dark horse. But she sure is pretty.
Indian Motorcycles are extremely nice, powerful bikes loaded with premium tech features. People hate on these bikes for no real reason other than the simple fact that it’s not a damn Harley… You go to these bike events and it’s 1000’s of Harley Davidson’s. After a while they all look the same…. It’s ok to be different folks!!! I personally love the Indian bikes and would have absolutely no problem riding mine proudly amongst the sea of Harley zombies! Don’t get Me wrong I love Harley’s as well but their bike culture can be so toxic at times! You will basically get bullied for not riding a Harley… it’s childish and dumb!!! 💯
Just bought a 2024 challenger dark horse. Wish I would’ve stuck with Harley. Tried to sell it back to the dealer at 250 miles, but it lost over $8K of resale value. So I’m stuck riding this machine until I can sell it and buy an HD road glide. Lack of performance, parts and third-party add-ons/accessories. Make this bike a very basic copycat motorcycle.
